The warm sunrise, early in the morning, the beauty of flowers, that smile and dance with every forest breeze, the huge mountains inspiring and driving us to the highest; the infinite dark sky filled with… like stars! The love and passion for the people around us. the joy that life has no known limits.
A day comes when we ask “what life is all about?”, “where do we come from?”, “what is all that we are doing here?”, “when did life begin and when will it end?”. We were destined to live here without knowing the purpose and source of existence. What are we really in this endless vast universe.
We look around for the answer. At first, everything appears random. Slowly, the regularities in the behaviour of nature using mathematics. Our unified theories can explain many things in nature starting from the behaviour of sub-atomic particles in matter to the motion of planets in cosmos.
But can theory make us realize why life is happening and why we are here? Theories tell us how universe functions in its conversion from one form to other. They give a description of “how” life is happening but not “why”. Certainly, we cannot settle with these descriptions. We need a solution which is beyond theory, logic and idea.
Everything around us must go one day! The beauty of nature will end. People who are with us in our happier and difficult times, who throughout their lives worked for us will go! What is it going to be after this period of life? We are clueless and alone here!
Religions have a set of stories before us which may put children to sleep. Beliefs cannot stop us from enquiring. It is only when we completely understand our thoughts and actions that there is a chance of reaching the truth that we are starving to find.
Only a sincere enquiry into the secrets of life can make us more responsible towards the people and life around us which is the only solution for the economic inequalities and cultural conflicts of the present day world.
