When you can turn obstacles into opportunities, success becomes the only option. In our life we daily face some hurdles. Some may be small and some may be huge. There are some which may change your life. But the way you tackle the obstacle is important, it can make you stronger or may take you into depression.
Today I met a lady while travelling in bus. She was in her early 40, may be. But she looked very tired, so I offered her my seat. But she refused, on further pleading she accepted the seat. Though she was smiling I could see pain in her eyes. I was wondering what was the problem in her life.
After a few stops, seat next to her got vacant. So she called me and offered the seat. I sat next to her, and out of curiosity I started talking to her. The first few minutes were a casual talk, but then she asked me my qualification. When I answered engineering, I saw her face lit with happiness.
She told me that even her daughter wanted to do engineering and she is preparing for the entrance exams. She was a divorcee so she has to take care of her alone. Her husband is a drunkard and never bothered about her family. Today she went and registered her name in the coaching classes for entrance exam. She didnt look as though her financial status was goos and fees these days as everyone knows is sky high.
She was so confident and happy about her daughter, the only dream she has is seeing her daughter as an engineer. I was so touched by talking to her, and I exchanged my phone number with her. Just in case if she needed some guidance, I was ready to help.
This lady truly inspired me, if every family realises the value of girl education India will never be the same in coming years
