The forgotten day

February 14th.... As soon as you see this date, valentines day comes to your mind.

July 26th....?????

Seeing this date, your mind goes blank. Most of us dont know the importance of this date. Its VIJAY DIVAS...

On this day in 1999 around five hundred and eighty soldiers sacrificied their life in the Kargil War. Those army people fought for us, stayed away from their families so that we can stay peacefully. They did not have a personal motive in joining army then, nor do they have now. But they are striving hard day and night for us, bearing all the pain. They are living in snowy areas without any proper housing. They are fighting with the neighbouring countries, sometime they dont even have proper food. They are hungry but they will never stop fighting.

At some point of time, they even lose their friends while fighting. Imagine how much we would be in trance if we lose someone. But still they control their emotions and continue fighting. And think about their families, their parents waiting for them to return. They are someone's son, someone's father and someone's husband. When they die, nobody cares for their family.

Let's not blame Government for a change, as we know that the politicians are busy filling their pockets for their coming generations. Those retards are fit for nothing.

But lets think, what are we doing for martyrs like them. Nothing, absolutely nothing. What can we do? The obvious question which arises in our mind.

Yes we can do something for them, educating people around us about the army sacrifices and giving some credit to the martyr's family which just goes unnoticed.
