Maya's childhood was spent in a small humble house, She and her parents shared a room, she had nothing but an antique wooden shelf on a wall to keep her books and other stuff in, there was a old wardrobe which had the entire family's clothes in, They had a small living room which had just enough space for the family, but they would sit for hours happily and chat in front of their fat old TV, even if one extra guest came, their house would be so full but guests poured in almost every day, their house was alive.. It had its own character!

While sleeping next to her mom, some nights she would think "what if I had my own room? What if we had a huge house? She would imagine what she would do with her room, what she would have in her room, how she would keep it"

Years Later her wish was fulfilled, they moved to a very big house, She got her own room, her own bed, but she never has the time to do all the things that she imagined to do in her childhood, old TV got replaced by a new thin lcd, but no one seemed to sit and chat in their large living room, everyone was rushing to go their rooms.. No matter how many guests come to their house now. It’s never full nor alive. Now when she visits her relatives she feels suffocated, their houses are small, dark and stuffy!!

Now sleeping alone in her bed she thinks "My room is so small, I wish I had a bigger room, and why doesn’t my room have a TV? How cool would it be if I had an AC here, my house is okay but those houses I see in magazines.. How does it feel to be living in one of those houses?"

This is just a small example of how the human mind is designed, we humans are said to have achieved everything but still satisfaction or contentment eludes us. We think we will find happiness in something we don’t have, and don’t realize the importance of what we have today, and chase after something ruining today, tomorrow when we get that all important thing, our mind immediately shifts to the next thing we don’t have.

We always want more, more and then some more!!
