You Die a Little Everyday.

By: desigal | Posted May 08, 2013 | General | 814 Views

Your alarm rings. You convince yourself that there is always a tomorrow. You want to sleep for ten more minutes and it’s already late. You get up and see your mom limping, trying hard to run her daily errands. You can’t do anything about it. You put on wrinkled clothes because you don’t have time to iron. You fake a smile. You get pushed in the bus. You ignore elbows of strange men on you. You stand the stares of the preying eyes.

You send false reports. You lie to impress. You compliment to make friends. You tell you don’t have money even though there is plenty in the bank. You talk to a boring person just because you are bored. You put up with someone’s crap because you like them. You are happy that you earn more than your friends. You let a great guy go. You feel you deserve better. You are scared of others judging you. You form opinions freely. You think God is partial.

You are unable to delve into the interiors of your mind to find out who you are. You don’t know the purpose of your life. You cannot face your inner demons. You try to find out the meaning of life. You can’t. Death is an eventuality. But, you die a little every day.
