For those who do not like to read lengthy and elaborate reviews, I will finish off the review in short: Fashion can briefly be described as a two and a half (and then some) hour long commercial for safe sex and condoms, with only less than thirty seconds of foreplay, and Malaika Arora is n...Read more

I think this movie was a predecessor to Gardish... and I also think the movie was like banned or something for extreme violence.. back in 1992, you just couldn't show raw violence on screen.. Just watching this movie on CCC right now... one thing that breaks me is... how could Jackie's character ...walk after being tortured so much?Read More

WWE is a dish of bad actors and worse storylines... it is true... but back when the Creative Team was not taking the aam junta for granted, me and fellow WWf FANS had a roll.

UbeU - No, I am not a techie, but people like to think I am a very observant person. In retrospect, I also think another loophole was that the director forgot the media jambooree that would happen once the bomb news comes on UTV.. yes, I realised this when I read another review on the movie... but t...he movie is overall very good and crisp.Read More

Ok.. I dont say the movie's perfect, but the runaway is not 'allowed for public access' and you know what that means in India. :D

Movies like these have a unforgivable peril – to dive from realistic to fantasy with just one, random, frame which does not stand true to the collective logic of movie goers – and thankfully ‘A Wednesday’ does not stumble anywhere in that respect. What we have is a gritty, realistic, and at t...Read more

Instead of warbling about something ambiguous, you should have told us what exactly was wrong with the said product. I just got the same product, and all I suffer from is a very bad battery life and a below par camera for a 1.3 mp camera.

*chuckle* I was waiting for this. Ladies and gentlemen, I now proclaim ourselves a completely American society. We now have individuals who go away from the crowd just to get some mileage! Think about it, would I be commenting on this review if he'd said this is a good movie?

Ooh, we will soon have people with iPod wires for umbilical cords yapping at CCDs that 'the guy who made Chanakya' didnt have the guts to face Ekta Kapoor. I call it retaining the dignity of a craft. For someone who comes from the world of Media, I balk at even the mention of Ekta Kapoor's progr...ammes as 'media'. For the uninitiated, most of, no all of Ekta Kapoor's serials have run down, jobless, aspirants as actors and actresses. Whats more, they do not get paid a specific amount or something, but are paid by the day... a salary. Of course, this does not count for the industry's better known names. The irony is that the daughter is once again setting a precedent which was broken by her father. It was Dev Anand, and later Jeetendra who broke the norms of the industy hiring an actor for a month! Enjoy!Read More

Basically, Ekta Kapoor is a schmuk who has taken Indian media like some ten years on the backward dive. And the funny part of it is, that there are still people who love this serial and others by Ekta Kapoor. Of course, she has taken real time relationships and strangled and mangled them, I drea...d to think what people not conversant with our everyday life would think about our family life. Not every elder brother has raped the wife of the younger brother, and not every house is worth something like 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000 million rupees. Heck, not every house even houses a complete stranger into their houses! But this time I seriously think she has taken that wrong turn, that idiotic move, that one mistake in her life. I am still wondering why none of the so called 'guardians of the tradition' haven't taken up cudgels against her reconning our history. Strange are the ways of this land, The leg doesn't know what happens to the hand, We say India Shining, I still look for the cloud and the silver lining. Read More

Well, is this a review on the movie, on Karishma Kapoor, on Kareena Kapoor or her dress sense? So yeah they both looked male when they came in the film industry, they had a makeover, get over it, they surely did.
