Hi Ajith, As told you in earlier comment for linea i have bought a fiesta 1.6 SXI. You will be surprised to know that i love it's interiors. It's ver thoughtful and the quality is great. The dashboard is soft feel which i love. The side door pockets have enogh space to keep big water bottles ...which is very convinient for person who has used ikon earlier. The engine is great. I can only caution you about it's stability. It's not as stable as Ikon at high speeds. This my be due to the fact that it's alight car unlike ikon. The average is decent , before the second service i am getting 14 kms per lit. on highways. the ac , gear , accleration , seats are very good. The ANHC has poor and pathetic interios , the seating position is low which i hate. I like ANHC looks rom outside but that's all about it. I also think it's overpriced for it's features. 1.6 SXI is loaded with features which i really loved. regards amolRead More

Hi Ajith , Good review and your reviews shows that you have used ikon. I am using the nxt since last 7 years and still love it I tell you ....if you have driven ikon then you will never like any other car from the same category. I have bought a fiesta but it's no match to ikon's fun and stabil...ity. I had lot's of expectations from the linea but i feared due to it's Fiat Badge and finally bought a ford again. Fiat could not evene develop their own dealer network and the earlier products have lost thier shine very fast. The fiat cars are very very sturdy but as you have mentioned the engine seems to be underpowered. If you have really liked it very much then i would sugget that wait for some time till they come with a more powerful engine. I agree with you that this may be for those who do not drive themselves but are driven around. I think you may try ANHC or wait for the new fiesta which may be lauched in noather 1 year or so. regards amolRead More

Hi Dharmanath , Thank you very much for your review. All the time , loooking their adds i was wondering baout this plce and had plans to visit it. I love good planning and comforts , good food at reasonable price just like everyone else but then this is not the place. You have really mentioned... things which are extremely important , i can imagine how tiring and boring it would be to climb up / down steps to reach any place within this so called hill station. Lake is dried up ? that was their USP right ? Oh God why things are always the other way , exactly opposite of what they potray them to be. It's sad that such a big development lacks so many things , will it improve with time ? i was very happy to see that there is a new hill station coming up as lonavala , khandala , mahabaleshwar are too crowded these days. Lavasa was suposed to have good hotels for lodging and boarding but they are not up as yet i guess. Dear Krsihnan, Ford cars are good but i feel they do not age well. I mean not as long lasting as marutis or hondas , the spares are very expensive. It's possible that cars like endeavour are very roughly used. i would advise you to be very caucious while taking a decision. Please check service... history if available otherwise it could be a costly affair for you. Hi Kirti, I have just returned from this movie and i wanted to see what others thinkg of it. I read TOI ’s 5 start review and went for it but what a waste. Hi , I have just bought a Fiesta 1.6 SXI as the ’’S’’ was not readily available with the dealer and the also found the inetrior of SXI more appealing ( this is indivisual choice ) I have used IKON NXT since last 6 years and still own it as i am in love with it. As the IKON has spoilt me with driv...ing fun and excitement i could settle only for another ford and hence the SXI. But i think it’s not as exciting to drive as the NXT. I can’t stop myslef comparing to IKON and i think the differences are as below. I am discussing only the cons as pros are too obvious. IKON NXT petrol 1) Great, fun to drive engine 2) Superb suspension and 178 mm ground clearance gives you piece of mind , it absorbs all the potholes3) Clutch position is such that you do not need rest peddle and still feel comfortable, while using clutch lifting the foot is minimum 4) Lever for reclining is good and can be used with one hand FIESTA 1.6 PETROL 1) Engine is good but not as JOSH as ikon 2) suspension good but it shakes over potholes at slow speeds ,less grounf clearance 3) clucth is without a rest peddle for expensive car like this one and one needs to lift foot too much , painfull in traffic jams.4) reclining lever is poor and typical So ... in short i was happier with IKON , i hate myself for this decision regards amol Read More

Hi , I think both the cares are dofferent yet great in their own ways. I think it's like Aamir Khan or Shahrukh Khan. You may like one or both but can not hate both for sure. I think my opinion is as follows Honda civic : Looks > exterior : very modern and sporty , interior : class lea...ding and modern , very different style Fit and finish : great Refinement : too good Fuel consumtion : average Probelm areas : Suspension is not great for car of this price , ground clearance is very very low , seating height is vey low too and the rear seats are not great. I think this car makes a statement and people who love style and badge will buy irrespective of the cons. Toyota Altis : Looks > exterior : very conservative and looks as if some DC kind of kit is added to the last corolla desgin, interior : well designed and comfortable but not as flashy as the civics Fit and finish : great , toyota quality Refinement : too good Fuel consumtion : average Probelm areas : Not radicaly different from earlier version and the inetriors is kind of plain for a car of this cost I think this car is for practical guys who wish maximum VFM. It has great seats and good ground clearance.The best part here is the ' flat floor' for rear passengers without the bump , this will really make it popular amongst the chauffer driven guys. Hi , The Fiesta is very good but the ground clearance of this car is less , when loaded with 4 people inside , the bottom gets scrapped. I have observed that the new sports variant has stiffer suspension but still the ground clearance is low. I have been using Ikon , it's good but certainly not a...s reliable as maruti vehicles. Compared to fiesta i feel the maruti SX4 lies behind in areas like fit and finish , inetriors which is very superior in Fietsa , rear seat in SX4 as everybody knows is a problem b'cause of the bump in between , overall refinement and fuel consumption.
