just because something is costly does not give it a snob value. It should look it too. Otherwise it will have a fool value. you dont get snob value by spending 1-2 lakhs more

Indians showed to the world they can make a cheap car, but they could not show to the world how to give a proper meal to 70% of its people, so everyone is very impressed, everone in the west sings india india nano nano 3 times in the morning before he goes to the bathroom

krishnanjali, your point about the maintenace costs of the car is excellet. true, running costs are such an important consideration, everyone seems to have overlooked this point. of course even if a POOR guys buys this car, how will the POOR guy support it

mr tata thought millions of 2 wheelers will be replaced by this car, so it should have been a top seller but it wasnt, that means mr tata is a first class fool, and this is the first time i heard a fool being called a visionary
if mr tata was such a visionary he would deliver his technology ...all through his product range and deliver us a honda city at the price of indica, but we all know mr right-connection cant do it in ten lives
if mr tata did not create enough capacity after creating so much hype and having false hopes, it means he is a double fool who wasted a great opportunity
if mr tata introduced the his so called indian pride with so many technical glitches bringing shame to this great patriotic car(according to him) he is incompetent and traitor besides being a fool
all in all he has nothing to sell, he has no technology no standing, all he can sell is his patriotic line, a person who brings in countrys name that too through poverty route, while trying to earn profits for himself is a racketeer
if he had any shame he would let his product do the talking and not drag country into it, not everyone wants his countrys name to be linked to a cheap car..have some self respect, build a super train like china what is this cheap cheap everything is cheap in india, in $1 you can travel in an auto for 5 km

I have heard similar fulsome praises of this car before, but since this car failed with a big F, means these praises are patently false or mean no more than a load of bull to the potential buyer, so it is useless to even state them.What I am trying to explain is the failure of this car, not discuss ...the pros and cons
in fact your praises of this car strngthen my point more..even agreeing it is a good car, why did it fail ? it should have been a resounding success- a mercedes at the price of a autorikshaw , isnt it? answer is poverty association, which negates everything else. As far as I know, Air India does not need your strategic advice. There are enough people with more than enough experience to tell them what to do. Advices by the bucketfuls can be given to anyone, but that cant make a horse out a donkey. All that people need to do is work properly, but everyone is d...oling out advices. Read a couple of newspapers and start doling out free advices. Everyone has an opinion on everything. If an AI director stands to gain 10 crores by ruining the airline, what will be do with your gratuitous advices? Even a stalwart like russi Modi could not help them.
