Securty sys that shuts u out & keeps mum whn pried. Review on Tata Nano

The Nano LX Champagne gold with central locking & power window( Rs.2.25 L on road) purchased by my Dad was to be brought home by me from M/s.Kulathungal motors Trivandrum( I got my Linea Diesel from here 1.5 yrs back.)to my Dads Place about 4Kms away. Nano had free Teflon, underbody, mudflap, floormat and by haggling insurance too mufth mufth mufth. We had swapped 1gm gold coin for seat cover too.

I went out to see the cute Nano standing mutely with adhesive patches from tapes every where. The executive says its from the transportation adhesives used. Wonder how he did Teflon then! Then I notice that the remote( Rs.3500/-) I had additionally done was not beeping when I locked the car.  He says it wont beep. I decide to pursue the matter later and start home as it was getting dark.

In the lane, I shut the car door, get out to open the gate and come back to find that the remote has shut itself in and me out! Both my remotes are in with the keys dangling at the ignition. I ring up the TATA helpline emergency no.  9747536524 and say the car is stranded in the middle of the lane.That guys tells me to get a steel scale or a chimmetty and try to pry open the door. Its 7.30pm in the night . He says he can come only at 10pm. My dad calls his old Amby  Mechanic he comes dashing in his bike in 10min. flat and after much effort  (the scale required for Marutis is shorter compared to Nano which needs a longer steel scale!) succeeds  in opening the car. When the door was pried open the Security system stays MUM not even a whimper even when it is driven into the porch! the mileage is very low 12 in city with ac. the steering is very heavy at rest. the ac is very good. space is very good
