Media is basically absorbed in cheap journalism. National interest is always at the backfoot. Sensational news items get the priority.
It is true there are rapes, murders and some crap actors going to jail. But besides, we have many handsome... achievements to tell our country men. Ever heard any detailed report on Indian succeess in IT sector! Our advancements in space and nuclear technology. Or that how we have become an outsourcing hub-------------------------.

Very correct Gopi. Though politicins are not alone to blame for our plight, their votebank policy is for sure.
In India, they have divided the majorities on the caste line. Even when caste has become totally irrelevant, they have tried to enlive it for vote bank policy.

The pity is that even educated muslims fall prey to terrorism. Remember the Banglore engineers who tried to blast the London airport. These acts have demoralised the indian muslim worldwide which they neve understand!

Congrats for putting a very informative review. I have twice visited Taj and I remember Astabal type of structure in the Taj campus. Such structures are strictly prohibited at the place of burial. There are for sure many prohibited areas in the Taj campus. It gives a strong indication that Prof... Oak is right.

Our earth has enough to fulfill our need but little to satisfy our greed.
For thousands of year, earth and its environment remained intact. However with industrial revolution rose peoples greed for more and more. The result is almost disastrous. Even river's waters are not fit for direct drinking....
It is really sad.
It is much serious a danger than the islamic terrorism.
All will have to work to save the earth.

I read your review today itself and got pleased to go through it.
Religion's basic purpose is to make people aware of the human values, to teach them the approach of 'live and let others live'.
However, any religion which propagates hate among the people, mu...st be reformed. All the major religions like Hiduism, Christianity etc have been reformed to make them people friendly.
The same is seriously required for Islam also. It should not be left on a forbidden land, rather it should be freely discussed and modernised.

You are absolutely right about Right to Act Act. It is going to help us in a big way. However, one element of hitch may be personal safety in some cases because the people in power are among the worst. Active participation of media and NGO is required for effective use of this act.

I agree with most of ur points except Ganguli's place in Indian cricket team.
For the last 2-3 years, his batting performance has been below par! He has always been a poor fielder .
In view of his form , fitness and fielding and age ,his inclusion in team is not justified.
But we Indians are sta...rdom crazy! Ganguly should play because he was a star!
All hungama done by Ganguli's fans is indeed shameful!
Place in indian team should only be justified on the basis of performance and nothing else. If we keep the non performers out then only team will get new and young talents like Dhoni, Raina , Sant & Pathan. May be many more are waiting for their chance.
Yes u are right that the way Ganguli has been ousted, is not good. But for this Ganguli is to be blamed too. He himself should have taken graceful retirement!

Well, Chappell has transformed a losing Indian team to a winning one.

In India it is a tradition to give living people cult image. People tend to become blind of their actions.
Ganguly has been in terrible form off late. His fitness and fielding is among the worst in the team.
Still u feel he should remain captain!

Many of Indians like u have the similar feeling. Still there are many who like the friendship bus!
They are naive and selfish people. If they lose their limbs in pakistani sponsored blasts or are driven out of their ancestral homes like the Kasmiri pundits, they will chnge their attitude.
I...ndia has been a supporter of non-violence . However, for a rogue country like Pakistan, which is badly after India, non-violence means cowardice and selfishness.
Tell these people to just once visit Kashmir, talk the people and meet our injured soldiers. They will have to change their views.
