Hyderabad bomb blast. Review on Hyderabad

Once again  our country has been struck by terrorists. This time people, enjoying their weekend have been targeted at Hyderabad. It has left more than forty persons dead and more injured.

Life may become normal for the people of Hyderabad after few days, though a sense of unknown fear will always going to be there. As people go out to relax, an invisible fear will exist. What about those who were the victims of the blast. They suffered and will keep on doing the same because they were born in a country named “India”.

It is difficult to cite a country, its politicians and off course its people as insensitive as of India when it comes to issues concerning national interest. Personal interest outscores national interest heavily.

When US was terror struck, its leaders as well as people got united to take firm action and they did so. Result was the brutal and brazen Talibans were pushed to some holes in their own country. The people of US struck with such an impunity that no body will dare to strike them again!

In contrast, people’s life in India is comparable to that of insects. Much in abundance and nobody cares there of! Last few years have seen thousands of innocent people killed by terrorists, however we still don’t have a really stern law to deal with terrorism! It can only happen in India.

Terrorism is all but different time of crime and is a war against the nation. As such detention of terrorists and their long trials is not only useless but has proven very costly too. We have seen plane hijacking to get release of the detained terrorists.

In fact we needed a fast and furious law to deal with terrorism. I would say terrorists along with their supporters should be publicly lynched. They try to terrorise the innocent people. Let them taste their own medicine. It is not only important to hit the terrorists, may be more important is to punish their supporters heavily.

The US survey reveals, India, on the scale of number of victims of terrorism, is second only to Iraq. What a comparison! Iraq is a war torn country, ravaged by sectarian violence. On the other hand ours is a so called politically stable, peace loving democracy with among the highest economic growth rate. Actually the US survey has shown us the mirror.

The global common perception these days is “every muslim is a potential terrorist”. It is really pitiable to see, wherever there are muslims in good numbers, there is violence, hatred and terrorism. Irony is that very few muslims try to evaluate the condition rationally. They come with reasons like US intervention, Kashmir issue, Gujarat issue. Unfortunately, they never try to see their faults.

Ever heard any Hindu lobbing bombs on innocent people because Kashmiri pundits have been tortured and victimized. Ever heard any Christian doing the same because Christians in Pakistan are brutalized. NO! Then why it happens only with muslims!

It may happen in near future that many countries avoid and banish these people and it will be unfortunate indeed.

Many western authors have emphatically laid the relation between Islam and terrorism. If it is true then it is very unfortunate. People must come forward to prove that a religion is for universal brotherhood and mutual respect. Hatred has no scope in any religion. We are human beings and not animals. If animals can co-exist, why can’t we. Religion must be a means to teach the people the lesson of co-existence.

Lastly, let’s pray for world peace. Hope our country rises off its slumber and defeats terrorism for ever.
