Much hue and cry was made when ramgopal varma and ritesh deshmukh strolled around the battered Taj Hotel after the fashionably branded "26/11" mumbai terror attacks. The sensitivities and sensibilities of all kinds had come out pouring to protest against the same. The result? Mr. VilasRao Deshmu...Read more

Hey u FREAKS,
thoda thande dimaag se socho.
Are u people anyway associated with the making of this film? That's the way u guys are reacting.
Have u seen the original Karz?
Are you a big fan of Himesh?
It seems NO for the first ques and a YES for the other. Well, the whole point of writing ...was that the cast and the remake attempt of this classic is so degraded that u can 'predict' what it will be like. In english,
predict means, a forecast made before the actual event or happening, made on basis of facts and realities.
got it ...u FREAKS

parag sir, aap theek keh rahe hain.
Statistics indeed show aap ka suroor was a hit. But not everything that's a hit is a hallmakrk of quality. Right? Saas-bahu dramas on TV are a big hit, but does that symbolise quality entertainment? No naa..
Vice versa, not everything thats a flop can be termed... as bad. Films like Aamir, Wedenesday have not been blockbusters like Om Shanti Om, but that doesn't make them any less better.
U r right, we never know if this Karzz turns out to be a hit..but the best explanation of it can be read in the review for this latest Karzzz on msn.
thanks for writing in anywayRead More

So Monty is back…!!
Punar-janm waali filam ka bhi punjar-janm hone waala hai boss. Kya baat hai!! But unlike the original Karz, which is an amazing thriller on reincarnation to watch even today, the ‘reincarnation’ of this plot itself, is very, very painful. Seedha idhar lagti hai..idhar!!

Well, well well. To start with, it's neither about any obscenity nor it is about some kind of mockery that's so-so unacceptable.
This reliance commercial, to my shocking disbelief, romantically glorifies and fully justifies the age-old habit, (a habit which seems to so intrinsic to India) of ...Read more

"kabhi alvida mat kehna...alvida kehne se, fir milne ki ummeed khatm ho jaati hai"says Rani to Shahrukh in the film. Perhaps, Karan Johar took that too literally and seriously for his film, as it never seem to end, and drags n drags , beating around the bush for last 45 mins. For once, it's the ...Read more

Bhaiya Gajodhar, why r u coming up with these weird excuses to justify ur lack of taste or rather absence of it. If u like Rang de Basanti music, that's good. U know what kunal, i really feel sad for people like u. Because u don't even realise, that what u think is a great insighful review is actually a reflection of the abyss of ignorance people like u live in.
And its not me, its ur review that literally shots this out. U said the language was 'bhoj...puri'?! HA! A sincere advice here 'DUDE' - if ur knowledge about india which is outside mumbai is derived and limited to, from whatever bollywood masalas have been churning out since ages (slapstick, cliched, unreal), please refrain from making judgemental comments like 'bhojpuri', and bhaiya accent. It makes a big, crude joke out of u, and ur oh-so-hollow reviews. 'The accent and dialect is a mix of western UP and eastern UP - two distinctly different regions is terms of language and customs. And not everything in UP is bhaiya.
Its pointless to talk about ur understanding of the music. Jab a,b,c nahi aata to sentence kya padoge sir?!
For the language, it is crude. But not vulgar. Vulagr is what films like tom, dick n harry, No Entry does. Omkara is hard core realism. The language Konkana Sen talks is what actually women speak.
Its ur 'opinion' u wud say. But then my dear pseudo-indian friend, how come u are so authoritative and judgemental about the 'shitty' work u say gulzar has done. May be u think writing more film reviews gives u a greater sense of creativity and cinema than Mr. Gulzar. Ya..Ya.?!
Dude, India is a huge country. There are trains, buses and aeroplanes going out from mumbai and back. And u know wat, u don't even need a passport for that! WOW!!...Go, see, know. And then comment. (Remember that opening dialogue of this very Omkara. Avoid getting into that situation. Because then, the answer will be obvious.)
Because if u are not aware about certain nuances, it is not Vishal Bhardwaj's problem. It is not a problem of anybody who is credible enough to evaluate true, intelligent cinema.
May god be with u (besides Shakesphere ofcourse!)
