Harassing customer service experience - Big Flix

My ordeal with Big Flix movie rental service of Reliance ADAG group was mentally harassing, my one disc plan was expiring on 16th May, I tried renewing my account online with 3 different MasterCard credit cards which I had, but somehow the payment gateway refused to process my payment, at last I opted for cash pick up request to opt for 6 month 2 disc plan, I waited for a call or someone to collect payment from me, the whole day, but no response.


I decided to renew my account again with Visa Credit Card this time, so I renewed my account on 17th May for 1 month 2 disc plan, still no respite, I send them mails, contacted their helpline which I would like to mention specially, the attitude of customer care executives is pathetic, they don’t give you any TAT for complaint, they don’t transfer the calls to supervisor, I managed to get a supervisor online, who seemed to be acting like a moron or else he was careless of what I was complaining to him.


I decided to escalate this matter to their contact center head, since they operate from DAKC in Navi Mumbai, they then woke up from their sleep, and I started getting calls the very next day and they got to their act and activated my account which had turned inactive, which made me more angry since the payment was already debited to my credit card, they activated my account and extended my account validity by updating my correct plan day before yesterday, I had thought of discontinuing their service, but sadly there is no other movie rental service provider in Pune apart from Big Flix and Catch Flix, Catch Flix service is expensive, Had a real bad experience.
