Much hue and cry was made when ramgopal varma and ritesh deshmukh strolled around the battered Taj Hotel after the fashionably branded "26/11" mumbai terror attacks. The sensitivities and sensibilities of all kinds had come out pouring to protest against the same. The result? Mr. VilasRao Deshmukh had to leave his love of life - the CM post.
And now, in a typically Indian scenario, when its been 2 months since the attacks, and political gimmicks to show India's tough stand and hailing the martyrs have slowly faded,
the ideas to milk the events like mumbai-terror attacks have been silently and willfully accepted.
One of the first sick case amongst them is the utterly pretentious show on Zee TV - SaReGaMaPa.
Loaded with jingoism and awefully staged fights, this show is now aiming at 26 jan episode to be shot at Gateway of India, with the Taj in backdrop. And the theme - a tribute to the people who lost their life in attacks.
Haha! As if the producers of the show think we don't know what TRP is. Who knows they might call the relatives of the dead on the show and have a great TRP puller, with all their tears and anguish of the suffering families. But feeding on the dead for their own survival is what parasites need to do. Right?
It's really sad that we know how to make an opportunity out fo a suffering. May be that's because our government can see no reason or opportunity in any tragedy, of any scale, to check this menace for once and all. Yes, INDIA TALKS TOUGH. BUT ONLY TALKS. This attitude often reminds me of a quote in hindi."Jo bhaunkte hain.(I dont think I need to elaborate on this).
By letting the SaReGaMa team use Taj and the Gateway of India, the government has showed huge disregard to the seriousness of the problem. But by conceiving such a thought in the first place, the SaReGaMa guys have once again proved its hollowness and what a heinious mindset it thrives on, sugar-caoted with nice songs and starry-eyed 15-minute fame wannabes.
To all the people, especially in mumbai, please spread this news around and get together to stop the show. And the least - ask people not to watch the show on 26th. LETS MAKE THE TRP drown. Because anyone that derives profit out of terror, is as sick and unacceptable as Kasab and his men.
