'must say that Xbhp.com is a bike forum which has to be taken notice off. Why am I saying this? Its because of the sole reason that you will get any information concerned with bikes be it performance enhancements, cosmetic mods, runing guides, touring, creations' what performance enhancement post...s ? please exlpain... air filters? tyres? which are the best for indian motorcycles wrt performance . lets see ur knowledge..please answer them. cosmetic mods? no comment..converting a pulsar to a wannabe ugly hayabusa is not exactly my understanding of cosmetic modds. that juss degrades the busa... running guides? the bikes u discuss on xbhp are a few years old , hence not complicated / difficult to ride / maintain / run...are u saying that the company manuals for those models ( pulsar / cbz/ karizma ) are unavailable? touring? maybe..meets are highly accident prone due to inexpirenced / childish riders . if ur talking about the GIR . that has nothin to do with touring , its all about castrol , sunny and money...and that rhymes lol do u understand ? creations? like what? 140 km/hr on pulsar 150 posts? lol thats some creation man!! lol no point in me makin u see the light.. u prefer to remain in the darkness and be a fool , ur choice..in the end u got nobody to blame but urself..whether u remain interested in motorcycle or not in the long run.Read More

Its because the T-bird come with an Aluminium Engine , thats why it is all rattly and viberates alot ( im guessing its gonna be a hit with the ladies ;) lol ) the cast iron bullets on the other hand are much smoother...the new ones (aluminium ) have a 5 speed gearbox on the left , whereas the the c...ast iron ones have the old school brit pattern of gear shifter on the right with a heel neutral finder . yes if you want a smooth bullet , the cast iron engined enfields are for you , but the aluminium engined enfield perform much better , since they are lighter , more efficient , faster and give more milage plus they come with a 5 speed transmission . @Cousin2 . Enfield is a Brit company that had a factory in India , they went bankcrupt a coupla decades ago and the India factory bought the rights to continue producing those machines and hence Enfield ( today Royal Enfield ..in an aim to make it sound like a propah brit bike , the Royal was added in 1993 ) survives today , although it uses WWII technology in all its bikes , except the one that we are discussing now and a few others , but arnt too advanced either....its quite a hit with Vintage Brit Bike Freaks . cas its a Vintage Brit Bike thats brand new (!! ) straight frm the showroom (!!) with zero miles done (!!) and parts still being manufactured (!!) . thats the way they think about it in the west but in India its supposed to be a 'macho ' bike....lolz lolz ....i prefer to call it farm equipment . sorry , dint really intend to start the bull bashing but i do like poking fun at it a bit , forgive me , it is however an excellent bike to tour on . there are guys who have ridden those bikes frm India to London !! it can take a lot of beating and still chug along ... thats Enfields for you. Must say that the Enfield Thunderbird ( the bike being reviewed) has yet to prove itself to be as reliable as the other bikes in the Enfield Stable namely the Bullet 350 and the 500 . but then its a fairly new bike.Read More

agrre with you , lol echo my thoughts on the ' feel like god ' ad. lol . anyways i believe the eliminator power plant had more cruiser like delivery than the present rev happy dtsi powerplant... real cruiser in india , nothin beats the enfield although the price they are askin for is a lil too high......bottom line is theres hardly any choice in the indian motorcycle market , ur either a poser if u cant spend ( cas of bikes like the avenger ) or if u can spend you get WW II technology ( enfield) ..its a sad state of affairs..and they stopped the production of 2 strokes as well....Read More

there is no point in discussing religion , yes you can critize it openly so that other people can look at it from a different point of view and probably see the light .. like i did after reading your review...but it should be left at that...you cant be serious about stopping the burning of ravan's e...ffingy can you? there are a billion people in this country how are you going to educate them?? and this burning of puppets and effingy's is not restricted to only ravana , christians ( some in india but mostly in the west) also burn an effingy of the previous year on new years day ( at mid night)... its called burning the old man...diwali being the new year in the hindu calendar and dhasara being very close , maybe the significance of burning an effiengy is to signify the death of the old and past sins and the begining or the birth of a new year/ life ...and ravana was the scape goat since he is regarded as the evil doer in Hindu mythology...delving into the depths of all and every religion is pointless...take the good things and leave out the rest no use trying to change an established system that is more than 2000 years old...and this isnt the west so keep writing but also know what practical and whats not... cheers ps: it would be more practical to write reviews about the sitiuation of harijans in villages and rape victim who are forced to divorce their husbands , marry the rapist or be discarded out of society , such kind of ppl where human beings are being tortured ,these things require much more concern and the raising of our voices rather than the burning of an effingy on a festival.Read More

if a guy riding a Bajaj Avenger feels like GOD , imagine what a Suzuki Hayabusa/GSXR rider , Kawasaki ZX12R/10R/6R rider or Yamaha R1 /R6 rider must feel like , like GOD's FATHER?? or the DEVIL??....lolz im sure bulleteers got a bone or two to pick with the avenger punch line... personally i believ...e there are much much better bikes in the indian market to travel on...if your looking just to attract attention then it MAY be a good buy...but its not a good bike in my books becas its neither a cruiser ( its got a pulsar 180 high revving engine) nor is it as good a performer cas of its weight just like you said....Read More

hey man im just wondering y the hell did you write a review recomending this site . lolz . i mean u said that you havnt checked out this site but you recomend it to others . you chose to write a review as well on it instead of just writting about your heartbreak. did you meet your X on that site or ...something ??? you havnt said anything about the site. lol man , dont be senti man , i dont understand in which context u mean to say let the person go , if the other person doesnt like you / wants a brake/ likes someone else or you dont like her there isnt any point in making her wear a metal panty with a big pad lock and tying her to a tree outside your house , is there ?? ofcourse youve gotta say bye lolz...and i believe in any relationship the moment you start to feel curtailed (lack of freedom) that means that 'sizzle' has gone out and you have started to tire of that person or the other person has suddenly become to possessive / too personally involved in your private affairs ... sensible thing to do ..say bye bye and hope for them to never return!! lolz love ...what the hell is that??!!...im looking for friends and something less..not more. lolz get it? ;)Read More

since you have asked me to read this review of the bullet i did , and i must say i did like your review very much... very honest and written like a true bulleteer... its one of the best bike around for touring and is faster than the Karizma in a straight line race ( the T-bird/ AVL 350s) . However ...this is no god to me , i dont like it and dont hate it , i know its capabilites and i respect it for that , i rate performance and handling over touring capabilities and the Yam 350 (RD350) does all of these (performance/handling/touring/cruising/rallying/racing) will excellence ... so no second thoughts for me man... and one more think you actually call the bullet FARM EQUIPMET/ a WATER PUMP!!!! well not directly but indirectly .... lolz.. im just pulling your leg man but i found it funny cas my friends and me refer to a Bullet in exactly that manner! hope you get the joke! i have a preety strong opinion on the bullet but i do appriciate its capabilites as a workhorse...not a powerhouse...i love the powerbikes more so.. hope you dont get offended by whatever i said being a hardcore bulleteer and all .lol cheers Read More

ill try not to bash bollywood and indian commercial cinema in general but seriously what exactly do you expect when you watch a bolloywood movie???? 99.99% of all movies released nowadays ( esp the popular ones) are cheap immitations of an aclaimed Hollywood production , i dont see bollywood movies ...much but every bollywood movie that i try to watch outta sheer boredom , i realize has tried to cheaply immitate some scene or the other from a famous hollywood production , and it gets so irritating watching such a movie cas one can tell what will happen at the end of the scene before even half the scene is over , and the action scenes are a joke ... its so damn predicitable , i think Black and Satya were 2 'different' movies that have come out of indian cinema in the recent past , the rest of the stuff is just the normal BS that keeps rolling outta the BS factory called Bollywood ( they should rename it BSwood) where people lack brains and originality . I think Ekta Kapoor serials should be more popular than the Bollywood movies cas those serials have more sound effects , camera zoom and hanging on an image along with appropriate sound effects and have emotional Drama 99% of the time , atleast those guys play their role better than the rest of the bollywood movies...Indian commercial cinema in general SUX. ps: i guess this did turn into bollywood bashing afterall , lol ., sorry about that..Read More

thanx im glad you liked my review , i would like to add something more about the RD350 as i felt i havnt stressed on the handling part about this bike , i feel that the handling of this bike is its main plus point . You see the RD350 weighs almost as much as an Enfield ( yes an Enfield) BUT its powe...r delivery and throttle response is soo crisp and its power to weigh ratio is soo good that this bike although it weighs so much , as soon as it starts moving and you open the throttle a little the bike begins to handle like an RX (!!) , imagine a bike as heavy as an enfield handling like an RX !! Traffic riding , overtaking out of the tightest of corners , flickability of this bike , turning , etc is just amazing for such a heavy/big bike, it just feels so responsive and its not surprising when you actually think about it becas RD stands for Race Developed/ Race Derived ...which is why this street legal bike handles as good as a Race Track going bike and this is 70's technology....lolz so you can imagine how much the Indian Biking scene has progressed since the RD350 was released in India in the early 80's lolz.....this bike just rocks...and add to that kind of handling a 6 speed gear box , its ratios made in such a way that there is power on tap in each and every gear , and you dont need to rev the bike to redline in every gear to get the bike to respond in the next clog , your riding at around 5000 rpm in 3rd ( not in powerband ) upshift to 4th and the bike just lurches ahead begging you to yank the throttle and blast away , or you can choose to upshift and cruise in 5th or use 6th for more top speed after streching 5th . You have to ride one to see what a beautiful bike Yamaha/Rajdoot lauched in India 22 years ago...and there is no bike to date released in India that can compare with it , not even the Comet.Read More
