hey, great review. Unforunately i'm not a huge Desp Housewives fan. As a woman, I think the show portrays some pathetic women, who seems..o..so painfully desperate and sneaky! the characters are not remotely likeable, and they suspense angle is just there forthe sake of being there! Give me LOST an...yway, and if it has to be a show about women, 'Sex and the City' has got it all right!Read More

Why do you think 'Primitive Lyric' has negative connotations? It is ancient music that lives on...!It is musical and poetic, so it is nice!

I was initiated into Iranian cinema with this film. Since then i've become this huge Majid Majidi fan. His film Baran is one that i should definitely watch out for.

I don't think very highly of several hollywood films either. Its the foreign films (its a lil difficult to place hollywood films in that category)! Salaam Namaste was okay, coz you expected only what you got! Yeah, the Zinta woman needs to act her age now~

In the Miracle worker, the teacher empathized more coz of her past. You think she'd been through nothing? Then perhaps should watch the Keller movie again! The Miracle Worker was real and about life. Life isn't about dramatics (as shown in Black) Anyway..differing opinions!

Its a pleasure to see a review on one of the greatest plays ever. I even studied it, and it influenced tremendously. I guess, most of us could relate to it, coz it was our story. As ordinary mortals, we had hopes and aspirations for ourselves..one that Faustus did as well. So i guess it was a less...on to us! Amazingly written play. Good review as well. Keep writing!Read More

haha..yeah, i agree. but then, hindi films don't ever get comedy. so why bother tearin them apart. I was going to tear the film apart, but then, i decided i hadn't seen it in the first place hoping for something different. I knw it would be like this. I tore apart BLACK earlier, coz that was a pre...tencious film. Atleast here u knew what u were getting. I expected nothing more.Read More

Sometimes the masala is good. In india, film viewing a big deal. The excitement begins when the curtains begin to rise, and the front benchers begin their hooting. They don't want realistic cinema. They just need fun films in exotic locations, with larger-than-live characters in ridiculous situation...s. It is 3-hrs away from anything that is normal and boring. As much as I love a Keislowski or a Majid Majidi, I think we need these masala flicks as well, coz we cant afford to take life too seriously!:) So yeah, I like masala films that are meant to be masala films. I dislike masala films under the guise of serious cinema.Read More

woo..can't wait to read your review on Goblet of the fire. I'm told its the best of the four films. I'm trying not to watch it, coz I loved the HP books a lil too much to want to see their movie versions:))

Thankyou!:) Rang De Basanti? Never saw that. Loved DCH though. I've seen it several times, and it was perfect coz it was about US. I was in college then, and I could relate to it completely.

After all the hype and hoopla, I finally opted to see a movie that friends were sure I'd not like. I'm not generally critical towards Hindi films; infact i've loved several of them. However, when a filmmaker who makes pretencious claims of changing the phase of Indian cinema churns out copied mi...Read more

Been so long since I heard her. I have her Christmas album tucked away somewhere. Feel Christmasy just by the thought of that album.
