Tata Sky...have heard a lot about it. Some of my friends have subscribed to it. And though, frankly they've never really glorified Tata service quality, I haven't really heard them say something bad either. So looks like all's well with Tata....but I'd wait it out!

Fourth, BY CHANCE, they deactivate your account, reactivation takes 2 hrs to 48 hrs...what a range, seriously. Till date, there have been many instances of my package deactivation (a couple of times it was delayed payment, and other times it was a technical glitch), and God knows the effort that I had to take to get the connection back on. The call center does some 'refresh' on the VC via satellite up/downlink...this is the gyan you get by the way, and then you're supposed to leave your STB on on some channel which is nothing that you can make sense of, and leave it on for 2 hrs to 48 hrs for channels to get refreshed. Frankly, I liked Dish TV for their market share, cause you can't get such shares without substance, but somewhere complacency has stepped in big time, and service standards are being looked down upon. I've stayed at the Renaissance (Powai) just once, and that too for only 5 days. But the 5 days were total bliss, the restaurants are great, especially my all time Chinese restaurant downstairs overlooking the hotel swimming lake and the Powai lake. Great article!!! :-)

Hi Kamini, that was QUITE some eye-opener for me. I've never ever thought of the Nation's Defence Mechanism to have had so much accountability in the Nation's current state of affairs!!! 4000C is something my mind REFUSES to comprehend, much less accept. With that budget, we could've been a Super Po...wer too. One point where I was shocked is the piece where you put our Dr.Abdul Kalam in bold...forces me to put on my thinking cap, and stop accepting people for who they say they are, as against who they actually are!!!
