Though I occasionally watch Indian movies but I would like to write a few words about Shahrukh Khan. Before I write anything, I’d like to elaborate a few facts: 1.   I remember a film award ceremony where he was the host and as per the protocol of that show he called an audience randomly. These are the glimpses I generally face in my day-today life and that’s why I define these personalities by a specific term because majority of them turned-out to be ‘Bihari Migrants’. Unfortunately,it is the term they received by their deeds and they themselves are responsible ...for it. However, it doesn’t mean that all Bihari’s are alike or all those who behave like that are Biharis. I have seen many other local Delhites behaving in the same manner. On the contrary I have seen many hard-working, efficient, disciplined, mannered and brilliant Biharis but their number is too less. Obviously I do not include them in this terminology though they have the same origin. So this term depicts behavior rather than the origin. I’m sorry that I have hurt the feelings of a learnt person like you. Probably I could have written another article to explain this term before I wrote this article. Read More

Read your Comment. My friend, pls do not take it offensive, even though if you have the same origin. It is interesting that my definition no where involves origin. Anybody with ‘certain specific qualities’ whether having roots from any-other state or even abroad will be label...ed by me the same. So what exactly I call ‘Typical Bihari Personality’? Imagine following situations by yourself: 1. Scene-I: Imagine a professional Party in a reputed Hotel. One of your well dressed colleague (Could be even a Manager/Doctor/Engineer) reaches to buffet table. While taking food he doesn’t follow queue and simply forcibly pushes himself in between the people waiting for their turn and gathers all his dishes. After taking his food he doesn’t find place to sit and finally lands over the floor (In Hindi-‘Palthi Mar ke’). ‘Probably he believes in Indian culture’ but he conforms into my definition. 2. Scene-II: A person most of the time speaking up wrong grammar but still continuing his conversation in English. ‘Probably he believe that everybody learns by mistakes’ but he conforms into my definition 3. Scene-III: A person jumping red light on roads and making sharp cuts in front of your vehicle leading to and accident and blames you for the same and start abusing you rather then realizing his faults. ‘Probably he believe that thrill is life’ but he conforms he conforms into my definition Scene-IV: A person who doesn’t show the competence and skills matching with the degrees he posses.I don’t know how they get the degree but their reality is often exposed in front of others at their work place. ‘Probably they believe in working hard (by any Means?) for getting any thing(Degree) they want’ but they conform into my definition. Thanks for suggesting to read your review on 'RainCoat'. I agree that we both have similar bent of mind.Your description’.....You feel painful & lonely after seeing movie...’ has touched my inner self. The most touchy dialogue in the film was what Ajay devgan’s friends wife told ...him ’Mardon ko rone se pehle hum auroton ki tarah bathroom mein shower chala lena cahiye...’’(Males should learn the female tactic to keep Shower flowing while crying in the bathroom)....it elaborates a lot about them.Their sensitivity, their dutifulness towards life & husband, their suffocations, their tendency to hide the things, their deceptive & false external face and their bearing nature inspite of all the above mentioned facts. But on the whole they teach males to be practical also.(I think nowadays males are more sensitive and emotional than females). So on the whole a good potrait of female psychology. I see very selected movies 3-4 every year.Hope we will keep in touchRead More

Hi Film Freak-thanks for your feedback. Have you seen 'RainCoat'? It is a brilliant potrait of 'Female' psychology. How practical they are in decision making, how emotional and attached they are with true love and how deceptive is their external face! Hope you will surely watch it!

I really appreciate your description. Nowadays in the era of sexual 'Exhibitionism' in bollywood the films like 'Parineeta' may be compared to 'A dew drop fallen over drought starving earth’ atleast for me. The portray of deep seated humanitarian emotions tingles the brain and tells the youth... that even without vulgarity or sexuality one can stimulate your nerves. I’m also a fan of its music and almost daily play it to get mental satiety and calmness. Good review-Keep it up. Read More

I support you view Ravi. ICICI bank is largest Pvt sector bank having highest number of customers. If they are lacking in customer support then how the customer number is ever increasing?More number-more problems(Its like our country!)But still I feel that they are providing best at their own level ...especially keeping Indian population/mentality in account. Lets discuss their Pros: 1.Largest number of ATMs & branchs in your neighborhood.Easy accessibility and convenience.Transections possible 24 hrs at ATMs and upto 8pm at branches. 2.Infinity account operation thru intrnet provides you many options just a click away.Transections take hardly a few seconds. The web-site has good server and professional support. It is beautifully designed and any service required can be searched(on site) without wasting time. 3.Through internet banking you may transfer funds to any ICICI or non-ICICI account throughout the India. You may pay your utility bills like electricity,MTNL,Air-Tel,ICICI Credit card etc within few seconds- free of cost! 4.You may also pay other VISA credit card outstandings similarly.(However,it is not free nowadays). 5.You may request for stop cheque payment or ask for a new cheque book without visiting the bank.(Through internet.) 6.You may also make complaints through your infinity account directly to the top offcials and mind it they respond within a day or two. 7.Many time they have reversed the charges in my credit card account which appeared un-necessary to me.All just by making a complaint on internet. 8.If your track record is good enough they send many good offers to you.Like you may receive a pre-approved car loan without any-paperwork. Regarding the biggest 'Con' highlighted by other MS members,I’d simply like to tell: Any complaint properly directed to concerned authority will surely respond.Read More
