Hi, I think you can insist on a daily log of your usage from Tata and lodge a consumer complaint against them if indeed they have wrongly billed.

Ha ha.. good guess but I fortunately dont work for the Tata nor hold Tata Tele shares :D But I somehow have the habit of calling a spade a spade. Also, I use Airtel at home and I get close to 1mbps continuously. But on a mobile device i still maintain that what i get on photon+ is good enoug...h. Period.Read More

Hey Ashish- Chill. See, in India at least, no one, not even your fixed broadband gives you the promised speed cos those are ADSL. Also, for normal browsing 300-600 kbps is super good. When I say travelling, I mean in a moving train/bus, etc not in a place other than your current location :) ... Anyways if you are unhappy, guess there is nothing much to do cos you have already bought the modem! See if you can sell it to someone at a discount :DRead More

Strongly disagree. You probably have to talk to the person you got the modem from to check if it has any defect. Also, it gets disconnected while you are traveling not otherwise.

Apparently, the set up is pretty easy, you can call the customer care to help you set up the device all over again in case u happen to format this your PC or want to use it on another laptop or PC
