simple, pay ur bills before the due date (18 of every month), or pay with-fine for 1 month after that... just like a credit card, u get credit upto 1500 initially (which might increase later), so u can carry forward ur bill to next month. otherwise the overall grace period of tata communications ltd.... applies to this too.Read More

There's no SIM card the company gives, u just pay for the instrument and monthly bills. I'm not sure if Reliance Netconnect gives u a SIM card. Each photon+ instrument is, though, given a Tata mobile number, through which it is identified, since connection is thro d existing mobile towers

can u comment on some of these aspects wrt xtreme ?
-engine sound
-horn
-sitting posture n comfort when riding as pillion
-ease of sitting when riding single (if u want to use some of the back seat too when driving single, do u find it comfortable provided the back seat is a elevated)
-ba...ck brake pedal (i found it to be very small and inconvenient in the hunk)

BTW, u mentioned abt helmet lock. Is it possible in the CBZ Xtreme ? With the gap in the holders at the back ?
And wat is the self-start for engine abt ? is it the bike's self-start, similar to kick start ? Or something else ?

I've been using this since May '09.
As u know, this device's IP is configured to ur laptop's, so chances that others in ur vicinity using it is not there.
As long as u dont format ur comp, this shd work fine. But haven't formatted my system yet, so dont know. When I asked the technica...l engineer abt it, he said the setup is done on the device, so system wil automatically take tat.
But he wasn't able to answer my question of wat happens when the device is corrupted (virus attack!), or if i happen to format my device (its just a USB). He said formatting the device shdn't be done, and he's not heard abt anyone complaining of a virus attack in the USB.Read More

Ur review comes at a time when I'm searching for a car. I've driven the old indica diesel for quite long distances. One main noticeable point abt the Indica is its sound, especially the diesel models. Does the deep 'purr' sound resonate in this new version too ? I personally prefer pe...trol vehicles owing to maintenance reasons, but diesel vehicles are good value for money, I agree, especially Indica. Pl. do comment abt the gears. Though their website is not as good, as u feel other brokers’ websites are, it helps u perform all the activities well. There are lots of links inside that u might get lost in, but Sharekhan’s website has it all. Moreover, their trading terminal is useful, maybe not so customisable as it cud be, but... definitely good.Read More

@Bala: Since u've opted for the 3600 mins pack, there's no limit on download size. U can download anything within this time, u'l be charged only the 750 (plus service tax) per month. Extra charges only if u exceed this.
As for ur question on monitoring time, i... too am searching for a way to counter this problem. I'm currently using the timer on the installed application, to monitor my daily usage. As said in my review, the website doesnt allow u to register this device to monitor its usage. That's the main drawback!Read More

This works thru the same data towers that all Tata indicom services, including telephones and datacard uses, so my bet is it shd allow to connect, though i'm a bit apprehensive of the speeds. Even today as I am writing this comment, my download speed ranges between 45 - 55 kBps (speed varies at a ra...pid rate in wireless internet that its hard to provide a single value).Read More
