I have not seen any other any other ebook reader in person.. So i dont have a benchmark as such to compare the Pi in terms of contrast.. But I guess i'm being a bit unfair by comparing it with a normal paper book!

hi vikas, The audio quality of the transcend is not as good as the shuffle but i think the earphones provided are to blame.. if you can invest abt 600 bucks u can get a good pair of sony earphones which will make the piece sound almost as good as an ipod. Btw, the transcend 610 is now available f...or just Rs. 3400 which i think is a steal!Read More

Even though the product comes with a 2 year warranty im not sure whether the company has any service outlets nearby. However it makes sense to check the product before buying and since it doesnt have anything too complicated inside besides a flash memory and a chip, i guess the piece shouldnt give a...ny big problems. Also its website (www.trascendusa.com) gives an option for submitting any problems online and they will get back to you. You can get the piece in any shop in Lamington Road and a 256 MB model costs about Rs.3900Read More
