I actually read your review after posting mine... and I seem to have plagiarized quite a bit :-) ! The best part I like about your review is your mention of Visu and Bhagyaraj movies... that they are high in dramatic content but seem very realistic.. true.. after reading your review I realize parij...atham was in this category too! I'm surprised that both reviews so far seem to share the same feelings! KrithikaRead More

Refreshing mint... this is how this movie feels admist all the gangster masalas. I have been keeping away from tamil movies for quite some time as I only seemed to see different varities of masala flicks. But I really wanted to watch this movie on hearing that it is from Bhagyaraj.. who is back ...Read more

Hi Suresh, That was a wonderful review as usual covering everything. Happened to watch this movie just yesterday (before reading your review)and I agree with you on all the points. Climax actually dampened the thrill of the entire movie. While watching I felt there could be no movie with a be...tter screenplay/direction this season, but the climax took away that feeling. With due recognition to the performance of the lead artistes, hope the director improves on his next venture. KrithikaRead More

That was a very good review and I'm with you through out. But I just thought I need to share my thoughts on role of women in preventing crime against women. First, I have heard somewhere that most crimes happen due to some sort of provocation. I feel that in some cases women themseleves are respo...nsible in some way for the crimes committed against them. Why do we have so many women who are willing to appear half or sometimes even fully naked on media? Aren't they encouraging sexual crimes? Why do so many cases of crimes against women go unreported - be it sexual crimes or dowry harassment or discrimination? Aren't women trying to under play their rights? This definitely encourages more crimes. And I definitely agree with jaded that the social stigma associated with certain crimes like a rape has prevented many affected women from exposing the culprits who take it for granted. Such women need to be bold and expose the culprits. Courage and guts can wash away stigma.. may not be in the immediate future but definitely in the long run. Women need to realize their own value and their importance in the society. Women need to hold themselves in high esteem and not get carried away by the lure of money or silently bear with the humiliation inflicted upon them in the form of harrasment or discrimination. Women need to stand up and take their due place in the society. This would definitely stop the society from looking at them as inferior beings and reduce crime to a great extent. KrithikaRead More

That was a great review and I did find that you have covered almost all aspects. Your comments on the technical aspect of the movie are your own. It's just your personal view and views differ. But you have seemed to have revealed the suspense!! krithika

Hi Aditya, Actually speaking, I haven't heard of even one Birla Mandir in Tamil Nadu. That's really surprising... when the 'Birla's' have travelled till Hyderabad building mandirs.. dunno why they didn't venture into TN.. it would be nice to have one, esp if it's in white marble just like Jaipur ...or Hyd .. (any Birla's reading this???!) BTW, Trichy is not my home town... been there just 3 times in my life! KrithikaRead More
