Gravity is an experience rather than a mere viewing.  Its one of the rarest of movies that transports you to a different world that has lasting impression even after the end credits roll. I was told that Gravity should be experienced in 3D especially in big screen.  That was quite true.  Havi...Read more

thereviewer82, Thanks for your comments. Anbe Sivam is one of my favorite (i've even reviewed it separately) however somethings stops me short of listing it out here. Maybe its not so evergreen (criteria #1) to me although greatly moving. There is something magnetic about Vikram and Thillu Mullu ...that draws me into it (heavy on both criteria) that I couldn't watch it once. Maybe its Kamal's & Rajini's charisma. Bhagyaraj has some great scenes in almost every movie he directs, but Indru Poi Naalai Vaa stands out for its quirkiness. Where I differ from you is Parthiban. He somehow fails to impress me. Mouna Ragam is a fantastic movie. Save for Karthick's cameo, it may not be that much entertaining. (I think I will write my list of top cameos as well). Yes, you are right. I am a fan of Kamal (as well as Rajini). I am looking forward for your 'serious yet funny movies'. Keep going.Read More

When I started listing out the top tamil movies, I inadvertently evolved the criteria for selection.  As in any personal listings, this is also subjective and biased towards my taste. So, here are the criteria. The movie Should Be Evergreen ie, you can watch it upteen number of times wi...Read more

Nice review. I am planning to buy Ritz vxi. My only concern is the rear leg space. Being 6.1 feet, when I stretch the driver seat, another person with my height, will have his knee brushing. Can you please throw some of your experience about this?

Yesterday I went to a Maruti showroom to have a look and feel of Swift. I am 6.1 feet tall. To my horror, I couldn't even sit comfortably in driver seat, let alone drive it. My knees were hitting the dashboard even with the maximum seat adjustment. I read almost all swift reviews in mouthshut and no... one seems to notice this point. Am I missing something?????Read More

During its release, 'Prestige' was dubbed as a cheat by most of the top critics. Either they were too naive or expected another'Memento'(my all time favourite) from Christopher Nolan. I agree that the end is not thoroughly convincing and takes a complete U turn from the entire movie's theme. ...Read more

Nepali is a classic case where substance takes backseat to style.  On afterthoughts, it is not difficult to find out that the so-caled "style" is itself misused to the core. Its about a happily married couple, getting into a whirlwind of tragedy when a supposedly helpful policeman ogles for t...Read more

Elaborate review. I started to write a review about this movie and only ended up with bad taste in the mouth. There is nothing in this movie for me. Total crap from my fav director Shankar. BTW, this is not Rajini's 100th movie (that was Sri Raghavendra). Keep writing. Cheers Madhan

It is heartening to see people without Tamil knowledge are watching Tamil movies and enthusiastically reading reviews and more than that commenting on the reviews. I suggest you to watch this movie in theatres for the audience effect 'Mozhi' means Language. Here it denotes the language of sil...ence. Thanks for the comment Cheers MadhanRead More
