I think ''cc '' does not matter too much , but the power. Pulsar 220 , I had used for long runs like 680km once, and two 420 km journey each time. At one time, the latest one I did with a dented and holed silencer. But my Pulsar 220 never gave any trouble of any type at all with my abuse. The p...rojector head lamp is real superb with a light projecting to furlong ahead with road full lit. I maintained a 70km average at night through a very bad roads of Kothagudem to Khammam. It is reliable and dependable , compared to Bullet on long journeys. Weight wise it is only just 5kg less than Bullet 500cc. After a thorough research and reading user reviews , I decided for Pulsar 220 instead of Bullet and I am all the more happy for my decision because on Pulsar 220 you do not get tired for 450 km run for example. AmitSD I think I did not rip the vehicle. As I observed , the RPM is showing 4.5 maximum most of the time. In my second long journey, however, very often I brougt it to 6.5 RPM.

Thanks AmitSD I did not care about mileage so I did not check it. But I can say like this. While I was going on long journey at 133km point from home, I filled in 6.5 lit petrol, and this red light on dash , indicating fuel below 4 litre limit came up ( light up) at about 120 km distance fro...m home. While coming back again the red light came up midway , I had immediately filled petrol exactly 6.5 lit ( Rs.500/=) . I reached home but still the light did not come up even after 30km ride next day within city. Immediately after a few hours, I had to take a flight and come here to a foreign country. I would neatly check mileage next time but according to my rough calculations, it seems it is giving me 52 km per lit average ( 678.9 or 680 divided by 13 litres) . While going the fuel in the bike was above 4 lit and after coming back it is just the same , definetely above 4 lit. , so it is a rough calculation and not at all mathematically accurate. Read More

I have seen this vehicle in the show room and I sat in it to see the interiors. It is really huge and that shall be the first impression you get. It is huge with very big, wide, thick seats ! You would feel that in the middle row ,in fact, four persons can sit instead of three. Its interiors are al...so vast, very roomy. I got down from the car deciding not to buy because , I felt that I would find very difficult to drive it in the city. I thought that even test driving it would be waste of time,so I had test driven Linea two times from the same show room. When I asked the price the show room sales guy told me it was Rs.15 lakhs (base model). That was another reason I could not buy, because my budget was upto 12 lakhs maximum.(It was in Dec 2010) Now I find from sales figures published by marketing magazines that ,ARIA sales are very low, at about 37 ( yes, thirty seven only ) vehicles in the month of MAY,2011. It means ARIA failed in the market, inspite of its great qualities only because, and most probably because of very high price even for a base model. Even an out of dated Ambassodor sold 275 cars !!!! and very pricy Ford Endeavour sold 175 in the month of MAY,2011. TATA cutomers seems to have expected something else on the pricing front. All those who commented on this review should understand that it is not an emotional issue to feel personal about it but rather it is about a test drive. I had test driven both Fiat Linea and Chevere Optra magnum in the same manner and I was quite impressed with Linea’s gear ratios and heavy city... traffic driving. The testing was not meant for highway driving alone. And also in the shortest distance and shortest time, this is one of the testing methods whereby you would a test a car's pick up in a high gear at a lowest speed. I did not switch to fifth gear from 1st gear , this was a testing about pick up at 40 kmph in (5) fifth gear, and Fiat Linea was much ,much faster to pick up speed than Chevre.. Even at 40kmph , when I took away my feet (in fith gear) from clutch , Linea did not knock , but Chevre Optra started knocking , and about to switch off and I had to hold on to its clutch. You can read in Teambhp.com website about the real time experience of owners of Chevrolet Optra (who purchased it) who complained that in city driving they do feel heavy turbo lag and about body roll . What really put me off is the body roll and not slow pick up at low speeds. In market survey when company sales manager asked me I gave one single reason for not buying Chevrolet Optra Magnum and that was simply body roll and nothig else.Read More

Kawasaki ninza is an internationally acclaimed, very successful motorbyke which means less repairs, good mileage, resonable cost in dollar terms. It has two cylinders, 'Fi ' type with electronic fiel injections without a carburettor. Kawasaki Ninza gives 42km per liter on highways, weighs 170kg ...(same as bullet 500 cc classic) with 33 BHP . (Bullet 500cc 27BHP) Bullet cost is 1,50,000/= I belived ninza is slightly overprriced for Indian byke lovers, on road price is 3,00,000 . My be 2,30,000/= may be the reasonable price,if it won't sell Bajaj may reduce the price but parts may ne made in India. Read More
