A debit card requires only the signature while shopping. Assuming that the thief forged the signature on the back of the card in this case, how can the bank/insurer say that the signature is genuine?

For a three cylinder 800 cc car at the price it sells, Maruti is still the ultimate value for money buy. My first two cars were both M 800s and I did over a 100000 kms on each of them. It was the perfect car for the city and pretty good on long drives too. I have driven it in bad roads too and can v...ouch for the fact that an 800 can seriously rough it out. In the last six years I have upgraded to only Maruti products. Believe me the experience has been terrific. Not only are a Zen and a Baleno superb value for money, but they are also built to perform better than rival cars on Indian roads.Read More

I don't know how long you stayed in Bangalore, but calling it a city of teenagers amounts to being myopic. Expecting policemen in Bangalore to speak Hindi is like expecting policemen in France to speak English. Also the problem with people from Mumbai or Delhi is that they know little about any plac...e apart from their own backyards and fail to understand that states below Vindhya started speaking their languages hundreds of years before Hindi was even born. Much of Bangalore's current state of affairs is because of the crowds that migrated from elsewhere in the country. Prior to 1990 Bangalore was the cleanest city in India. People used to follow traffic rules religiously and the city was full of gardens which have given way to shopping malls and commercial buildings over the years. What you have missed out on is the fact that Bangalore still has some of the finest restaurants that serve both continental and south Indian fare. The southern and the northern parts of Bangalore and also the Cant area have their own unique culture and still retain them. There are a number of places in and around Bangalore that are worth visiting and have historical significance. Most tourists fail to see anything beyond the crowded MG Road and migrant towns like Koramangala where the drains of the city used to end earlier.Read More
