Enjoyable Stay at Sherlock
Hotel Sherlock - Ooty

HI Mountainlover The package worked out to approx 7K / person for three nights in a delux room on twin sharing inclusive of b/fast and the newyear bash. The food in the resort was priced equivalent to a three star / four star hotel resturant.We had ordered some northindian stuff for dinner and it... was pretty good.They also serve continental and chinese stuff which we did not order. The places to visit are the usual suspects like Botanical garden, rose garden and Conoor. We also heard that Destiny farm is a good place to visit with reservation for lunch available at Sherlock itself. The trek from Sherlock to the Ooty town could be quite interesting, though short. For vegetarians looking for some usual bite check out the resturants in Hotel Nahar and do not miss the home made chocolates of the Modern Store.
