A doctor has a moral responsibility to attend to the patients in emergency cases. This is my understanding “The Apollo clinics were initially opened for the purpose so that medical services and attention can be provided locally and urgently.” But when the doctor refuses to pick up the call from t...he clinic as well asking about the next steps in case of emergency, then there is no meaning of these Clinics. Better shut them down. In case of emergency if the local doctor don't responds and tells that he picks up the call between 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, he should better work in a government hospital. Action should be taken against Dr. Akram at Apollo Clinic, Bellandur by Apollo Administration for negligence of duty and his medical license be revoked in lieu of lying during the Hippocratic Oath he has taken when he was conferred the degree of doctor. I agree to you, egosurfer. For what purpose should a convenience charge be paid. Already the cab fares are on a higher side though I do agree that service is good. I am not sure that whether the required approvals have been taken by MeruCabs from the Department of Transport for levying these charges.... But if the regulator has approved it then it would have been levied by every radio taxi company. I do think that you are very much annoyed by the tip you had to pay for the valet parking. I mean if you have been outside India, there is a mandate of around 5-10% of tip to be paid according to the customs there. The plot can be deviated a little bit from the original one to keep the audience interested but the social message should be given responsibly after the end of show.
