Well nobees, what shocked me was the fact that it was MY card that was blocked, and ICICI never bothered to inform ME!! Am I not supposed to know the fact that my card has been blocked, or someone tried to misuse my account??

HR Stuff is ok man, but there's something called as ethics when u r dealing with people. You can't like people who cheat u on the grounds of HR or profit making. It is U who makes them, and u can break them. Thanks for appreciating my review. Cheers

NAME ''What's in a name'' they say. I would say..''What's there without a name?''. But when it comes to creativity with names, Deepa Mehta sure is a class apart. The name Bollywood Hollywood, as many would complain, doesn't fit in the movie. But if you look deeply, you'll see that the movie's pl...Read more

Well, food for thought! If Pizza Hut is such a calorific experience, you can always choose not to visit it. It's ur health anyways, those guys are there to earn money by giving tasty food. Ofcourse, the quality of pineapple stuff that you told, which musta been lying for days...troubles me. But ...I've heard nothing of the sort here in India...and this chain is doing really good here. Don't mean to disagree with you, but I think things are a little different here. So thought should tell you.Read More

I agree with you completely. I was planning to watch the movie because Amitabh starred in it, but when I was told about the story line and downright vulgarity of the film, I dropped my idea of spending money on such pandering film. I suggest that these directors should take up the work of making... B-films, something we can prevent the common man from watching...I don't know why don't these guys undertsand the difference between eroticism and vulgarity, the way it's so explicit in the west...and with a 'A' rating, the kids are also protected. God give these directors some sense!!Read More

Like I said Al, there's no harm in having profit margins, but 400% is a stupendous amount, especially going by the investments they make, I don't think anything more than 150 - 200% is justified. And I don't deny the truth of your caveat emptor: but what I'm talking about is ethics...if only thes...e guys have any.Read More

If there was something that made KBC successful, it was a different approach. Even though it was another quiz, but there was nothing in it that matched its style and class. To begin with, Amitabh was like God. And the presentation was superb..extremely elegant. These ppl are pro! Cheers to them.... And your review, as always, was very interesting indeed. You're 100% right in what you say pal. There are many wrong guys in the right places, whose intentions range from earning money to getting fame, and their methods are not only questionable, but also immoral. With Cellphones, we've taken a huge leap in technology, and instead of patting the back ...of the person who invented it ( I still dont know the name), these idiots come up with these baseless and groundless studies and make our lives tougher. In our lives, and of the future that I see, sensible people are going to need a filter, something by which they can tell trash from facts. Good review.Read More

I'm living in Bombay for about past 1.5 yrs. It's a good experience so far. I love this place. My bringing up is from small towns. And the kind of serenity and calmness that exists there, is absent here. Moreover, education is also very focussed and cheap. I recommend Bombay for only grown ups.... For kids and teenagers, who don't know what they're doing, and have the bull's energy, it's good to keep them tamed in small towns, where they can grow and understand themselves, before stepping into the big bad world.Read More

That was a pathetic account of what happened to you. But u know what, these money mongering idiots dont care. They simply have to make the money. Ethics and rules, and law and order dont mean anything to them. How else do u think all the blackies get the tickets, long before they're sold out? ... We Indians have a long way to go as far as 'sharafat' is concerned. So be careful when u go anywhere, cos when u're in India..u're never safe.Read More

Well Amrita, your opener is right...that we need not make a fuss about the foreign brands. But Allen Solly, Ma'am, is a class. I don't know how u had the experience that you've stated. For me, in Bombay and Delhi, it's always been a tough decision to make as to what stuff to pick up from Alle...n Solly and what to leave. Sorry to hear about ur bad experience. I think there's something wrong with the OS. Every one in my office has been using IE 6 for a long time..and there've been absolutely no complaints like the ones u have cited here. Moreover, Windows is well known for it's un-installation problems. Suggestion: If your OS is Windows 9X.....for...mat and re-install it every 6 months. For Windows NT and 2000, do it every 12 - 14 months. They've worked well for me for over past 2 years. Cheers SaumyaRead More

The one thing I did like in the movie was the Indian was shown to be very witty and talented, and one who could improvise things which put him in the limelight. Proof enough about the dumbness of Firangis. But check out an article in the doomed 'Times of India', Pg 3 of 19th or 20th December, 200...2. The writer of the column has classified the character of Jimi Mistry, i.e..Ramu Gupta as 'supremely emty-headed'. What I feel is that this writer himself or herself is far more empty headed to say something like this to a character who makes millions of Americans, fools, only by virtue of his wit. Infact, I think the Guru couldn't have been any more brighter than this. Empty headed newspaper, and equally empty headed writers! Anyways, Good movie..for a one time see, and w/o family ofcourse!Read More

I was trying to find out how good a critic you can be, so I read this article. And what do I think? No prize for guessing. You're superb. And I can actually identify with your feelngs when you interprete Ally Mcbeal as the purple monkey and her aura spoiling ability. That was a nice one...
