Well I really dont know where to start critisizing this theatre a I did not find anything so good in it! Well basically I write this review to inform you all of a personal experience which I believe should have been covered by Mid-Day (Bombay's Daily Newspaper) but they didn't. I choose mouthshut to share this experience because this is the only place I find on the web where intellectuals come together.

Well there is this uncle of mine who was very keen on seeing ''The Legend Of Bhagat Singh'' on the very first day itself because he has a very important role in it. And unfortunately he sought me as the best person to accompany him during the advance booking. (We both had to go because fame has a rule which doesn't allow one person to buy more than 4 ticket) And since he was acting in it he wanted to buy 10 tickets.

Since the booking starts at 10 a.m. we both reached there by 9:30. Immidiately I noticed a flaw in the management as not a single person had idea as to which window belongs to which movie. We were probably the 20th in our row and we had to wait around 1/2 an hour. Then at around 10:30 when we reached the window, my uncle requested them to give us five tickets each and the booking-guy, seeing that we were note the blackwallaz gave us 10 tickets. As soon as we left the line a few people started pointing at us and a few hulky ''Blackies'' came towards us.

The events that then happened are described below in dialogue form:

(My uncles speech is indicated by Harsh:, mine by Me: and the blacky's by Blackie 1: and all the motions are described in italics.)

Tha blackies(about 8 of them) surrounded us from all sides.

Harsh:(in hindi) ''Please stand at a distance and talk.''

Blacky 1:(in hindi) ''Why should I stand far and talk. What do you think of yourself?. Just answer what ever I ask. Get It or not ?''

Me:(in hindi) ''Okay, what u want to know...ask ?''

Blacky 2:(in hindi) ''How the did you get ten tickets whereas we get only 8.''

Harsh:(in hindi) ''We requested and they gave us. You have any problem?''

Blacky 1:(in hindi) ''Of course I have a Problem, you batd.''

He pushed my uncle so hard that he fell on his back while the other blackie smacked his hand on my head.

All of a sudden there was chaos in the compound and all the ''blackwallas'' (now there were more then 20) charged at the counter in an attempt to break them. The theatre security did nothing but just closed the shutter of the counters. Meanwhile the blackwallas kept hitting us and the security just looked at it as if some show was going on. In the confusion our ten tickets (worth Rs.1000/-) got lost and the blackies finally left us on our own. Though we did not sustain any injuries...we were very disappointed by the loss of our tickets and wanted to meet the manager in regard with this.

When we reached inside we were informed that because of the chaos the manager had immediately left the compound. Then we thought of dealing with the situation tactfully. We went out and approached the head of the blackies (who seemed to be pretty calm). we told him that please return our tickets. He was a better man and somehow managed to find 8 out of our 10 tickets. He not only returned those tickets but also re-imbursed the money that we had lost in the other 2 tickets.

All I want to point out is that the theatre is basically managed by a gang of Blackwallas. And even the security personalls are useless. I think something serious should be done about this or else many more like me will suffer.

Anyways when I went to see the show....i realised that even the theatre was very badly built and had very small screens. It was almost like seeing the movie on a home theatre screen in an auditorium. But I did enjoy the movie and am also going to write a review on it. Do read that too!
