Hi, Ego supports SDRAM card. I have used 1GB card without any problem. Now new SDRAm cards are of 2GB & 4GB. Try using them. The front portion can't fell off unless the piece itself has taken a hard knock. I used Ego for close to 8 montsh without any problems & cnnectivity is great in hills of Oo...ty where I have used it for chking mails. Abt Blackberry, it is only a Email chking device wherein u have to be a corporate user with a Separate Blackberry mailServer connected to ur office mail server. The Blackberry server itself is in Singapore. So ur office server pulls ur mails & pushes to ur Blackberry. Tata Indcom has also launched similar servce on their Java & Brew handsets. SO u neednot spend on a Blackberry. U need to just run the application on ur phone to chk ur mails. U can;t read word doc or pdfs but can read text mails. CheersRead More

Hi Arun I got my Indigo GLX Petrol converted to LPG recently. My daily driving is hardly 10-15 Kms. Do u recommend any addl precautions wrt petrol. I have Half tank petrol for past 2 weeks. 1. Do I run teh car on Petrol ONLy for a few kms? If yes, how often 2. If I just start the car on petrol &... it chnages over to LPG as soon as I press the accelrator. However I have seen that if I am reversing the car, the car remains on Petrol. It changes over to gas only when I engage fwd gear. 3. I had sent an email to MERC (www.mercindia.org.in) abt the addl security deposit. They responded asap but teh reply doesn't make much sense. I had a similar experinec with BSES Telecom. However I have taken up the issue by forming a user's forum in Powai. Presently the case is with TRAI. Dear Mr VK Agarwal, Senior Research Officer (CN) TRAI, Govt of India New Delhi Thank you for ur letter no. 1-5/2001-CN (Vol-II) dtd 26/6/02 vid...e which u have forwarded to me BSES Telecom reply (Letter Ref. NIL dtd 8/6/02). First I would like to state that I have not opted for refund NOT because I want to continue with BSES but because I have NEVER learnt to run away from issues (May be my military background has steeled me to face adversity rather than take the exit route). Thus I will continue my honest efforts till BSES telecom meets its commitment else offer Refund to all subscribers through the print or similar media. Now I would like to enlighten you to the cover-up pack of lies submitted by BSES Telecom to mislead you :- a. BSES Broadband pack & CD mentions the Speeds of 64Kbps to 8 MBps. Here while replying to you, BSES has very cleverly tried to cover-up the speeds by printing ‘K’ in place of ‘k’. Page 16 of BSES Tele user guide explains that 1K=1024 byte & 1 byte=8 bits. We know that a dial-up modem is 56 kbps = 56/8Kbps = 7 Kbps. In place of this, BSES Tele is offering a max speed of 6 Kbps. Thus in BSES own words, a 64Kbps connection shared in 1:4 should give atleast 64/4 = 16Kbps!!!! Which is not happening & is the crux of the whole issue. This is the first lie from BSES. b. The 64Kbps shared connection in 1:4 ratio is not mentioned anywhere in the advertisements, broachers but states that it is a ‘shared connection’. With the present speed levels, it is obvious that the share ratio is not 1:4 but 1:12 or may be higher. This should be investigated. c. BSES CD claims that the Home Broadband is ‘Many Times Faster’ than a dial-up connection. If as per para 1, a dial-up connection is 7Kbps, many times faster Read More
