hello soniya,
your review reminds me of arabian night adventures. this place sound really cool.
the only thing missing is belly dancing. if they can bring belly dancers from middle east...it would create the perfect middle eastern ambience.

dear roop,
great review with all the travel details.
however i must add that one should buy honey when they are in nainital. there is small shop on the mall road which has different natural flavours of honey.
and i would also like to add that Manu Maharani and Naini retreat are two good ho...tels in Nainital.
there are adventure activities too with the Kumaon vikas mandal.

dear arun,
i think that you have written this review more out of patriotic feeling and not the real experience. i have not seen any improvement in the services.
and also remember that IA has stopped many routes which are commercially not viable. they have kept certain loss making routes alive ...only due to political pressures.
i would like to know as to which other european airlines are you comparing with IA.
well, as an indian, i also share your feelings and hope that IA services will improve.

i think that indian carriers are down in dumps....u need to be a super human with lots of patience to fly them.

the magic of backwaters is spellbounding. i agree with you completely on this one.
I just fell in love with the bathrooms !!!! great concept.
Kerala is now rated as one of the 10 most beautiful places in the world by national geographic and Kumarkom is at the heart of it.

dear Kaajal,
Cochin and Trivendram are the two entry points into Kerala. There are trains and air connections to both these places.
You should start from Cochin, if you take the circuit ' Cochin - Kumarkom -Thekkady - Munar -Cochin.
And you start from Trivendram if you want to to go to south Kerala and Kanyakumari. You could go to two of the the most beautiful resorts that i have seen from Trivendram. they are - poovar island resort and aquaserene. they are just out of this world.

dear soniya,
i agree with you. its a great train and real value for money.
however i did not have a good experience...just one time. i got food poisoning. i think that paneer subjee was not fresh.
otherwise i strongly recommend this train.

well......it's a well known fact in the industry circles that centaur is up for sale and there are no takers. its totally down in dumps and they are doing their best to keep it running.
it was a wonderful hotel once upon a time and has excellent location. but a big NO for right n...ow.
i would suggest Orchid Hotel if you are looking for a good hotel near the airport. They have excellent cofffe shop, cheerful ambience and great food. try it out.

i think that soniya has forgotten that ms has international members too.
well...in india - asking what is Thums Up is like asking what is Pepsi or Coke in your country.
it was and still remains one of the most popular corbonated drinks in india.
however when... there was no way multinational like coke could break the loyalty of this drink, they bought over the company. Now it is sold under the banner of Coca Cola.

i like the sentiments that you have expressed in your article. however we can all make a difference...no matter how small it may be.
if you want you can start by planting a tree and taking the responsibility for it. You can even decide not to throw anything on the road. this a...wareness will slowly grow and eventually it will make a big difference.
