Another splendid piece of ingenuity from the master himself; constantly bordering between the outrageous and entertaining. Or as the Brits would put it, ‘a delightfully old-fashioned crook-adventure story’. A rather pacy, often amusing, account of how a large scale crook financier is...Read more

I'm not much of a cricket fan...but among the few players I do like, Donald tops my list. With the cream and dance routine, he brought about a refreshing change to what had previously been a rather dull game. Unfortunately, during the prime of his career, South Africa wasn't into international cricke...t or we might have seen the greatest bowler of all times. Gr8 review, keep up the good work. I'll take that as a compliment. I do agree that most of the stuff was amateurish, and i too had a good laugh over few of the goofs. But, I'm no acclaimed critic to notice all that, basically as i've indicated, after the movie was through, however bad it might have been, i found that I actually enjoy...ed it.Read More

It has been a year of changes in Bollywood. The traditional routines of (girl + boy + love + disagreeing parents) or (honest cop + mafia + love) seem to have stopped working as Bollywood begins to explore new horizons, seemingly encouraged by the success of Lagaan. December 16 is just one such e...Read more

It's not very often that a movie is made based on the true-life happenings of a single person. And, even in rare cases such as Gandhi and JFK, it's only because of their social and political standing. Perhaps once in a lifetime do we get to witness a story even more incredible than the JFK assas...Read more
