I have surfed many websites, but find these 10 as my favourites. I love countdowns, so here we go:
10) Shockwave
Shockwave.com has always been my favourite. Before logging into this site, please check whether you have Flash & Shockwave plug-ins installed on your browser. It is also not recommended for people with slow modems. Here you can play games, watch movies or just hang-out. People who have visited this site will agree that the design of this site is equally good as its content. Macromedia is the owner of this site and it serves as a showcase for their product too. Some award-winning works are at display. Watch some.
9) CartoonNetWorkIndia
First, I do watch cartoons. Second, I watch them everyday. Third, stop laughing! Every cartoon(network) fans can visit this colourful website and find their famous stars at work. This website let's you choose your own layout. I chose PowerPuff Girls layout. Stop laughing now! This site is not just for kids, but for people young at heart.
8) Google
Google is the best search engine I have ever used. It is fast, detailed and accurate. I also perform my search using Google only. Google is now providing its services to search engines of Yahoo & Indiatimes. It is surely number one.
7) Cnet
Technology is the word. All techies will find all the information they needed about Software, Hardware, Updates, Patches, Games, News, etc. I usually visit this website for sharewares and freewares. They have a large database of software. Visit it and you will find out.
6) Elance
This website is for freelancers. Freelancers can find many projects in varied fields in Elance. Elance is a powerful website and the database is robust. Your information is secure too. You can become a member by paying a fee and then start bidding on projects. The best one is the winner. Check this out, freelancers. I have got 12 projects approximating Rs.122500/-!
5) Yahoo
I am a daily visitor of Yahoo. I usually go there for chatting, as it has the world's best chatting system. Yahoo mail is good, but not yet fast. I think Yahoo's Search is World's first popular search engine. Now they have started Yahoo India. They are going great guns, as ever!
4) Rediff
I visit Rediff mostly to check my mail. It is fast, really fast. I am also an ardent reader of their headlines. They have several other sections as well like sports, movies, contests, online shopping, astrology, etc. It is surely number one website of India. But on my list, it looks good on number four.
3) PlanetMOnline
Planet M Online is a joint venture between Planet M and Indiatimes. It has a huge database of CD ROMs, Books, Music, etc. I have bought 12 CDs from them. I usually pay by Credit Card and am sure that it will be secure. It is fast too. The delivery is quick as well. There are several other payment options by which you can have a happy shopping at Planet M Online.
2) LonelyPlanet
I am a big travel buff and other like-minded people will surely like this site. They have a huge database of many countries. They show several information of each nation. They give us the ideal period to visit that nation, what to do and what not to, tourist spot, etc. It is just a great site for travellers. It also gives several airlines information as well. It is a must visit.
1) MouthShut
Do anybody doubt this number one? I think every mouth is shut on this one. Great website folks!
