The world of ‘Orkutting’ has caught up with today’s GenX kids. It has become an addiction to most people and they proudly call themselves ‘Orkut addicts’. I am sure there is no one who doesn’t know what Orkut is all about. Orkut is just another community website used for social networking. What ...Read more

Hello people.. I was surprised at the reaction of public to Karan Johar’s latest movie. Going by Karan’s standards, KANK was no different. The same rona dhona, melodrama, emotional idiotic dialogues, colourful backdrop, all in all a complete Bollywood package. But why does the public seem out...Read more

Its simply humourous. Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Arshad have done so well, it is impossible not to like the movie. As for your opinion, you had a lot of expectations and hence you feel its not good. I haven't seen Funtoosh but I think you can never compare Munnabhai to another movie. Its a cl...ass apart. More than half a century after its initial publication, Gone with the wind is still the most popular and the most admired love story. It is the love story of Scarlett O?Hara and Rhett Butler in the backdrop of the American war. The novel was penned by Margaret Mitchell, an American author. It wo...Read more

I hope to read it soon as you haven't revealed much about the novel in your review but you certainly have... increased my curiosity. keep penning, Saakshi.Read More

I agree with you that this is not one of Jane Austen's best. But it certainly is not her weakest. There is another called Northanger Abbey. Its really very boring and lacks maturity. But when you compare with the likes of sense and sensibility, pride and prejudice and Emma, mansfield park lacks the ...flow. In my opinion, mansfield park brings about the complexities in the human relationships. Fanny's family has been described well and her visit to her family after many years is depicted well. But ofcourse, the romance is certainly lacking. The character of Fanny is weak. One cannot compare her with Elizabeth Bennet. Elizabeth is an unforgettable character much like the Scarlett O'hara of Gone with the wind. Great review though. Keep penning. -SaakshiRead More

That was a cool review. I couldn't agree with you more. Rishi a fav devar? Thats absurd. But yes, he is a damn good actor. Well, don't be so sure of Piyush not returning from heaven. Ekta can go a step further and bring back Piyush as himself or somebody else who is a lookalike of Piyush! An...yways, cool review. Keep penning. -Saakshi.Read More

This is the first time I have rated a review low. But I am not sorry for it. I agree with Chhail absolutely. We are worried only about the security in Pak and it is not only us, the entire world is worried about it. None would want to tour your country willingly. Accept that. Its rather brave of... Sourav and the other Indians who declared that they would tour Pak and if the reports are to be believed, they might take their families too! WE are certainly stronger than the Pakistani cricketers and we shall not tolerate anybody questioning our strengths both onfield and off-field. I do not understand who gave you the idea that we do not stand by our players. Yes, it is true that we worship cricket and we love our cricketers and we never hesitate to support and stand by them when things go wrong. You forget that it was the Pakistanis who welcomed their defeated cricketers after the 1999 world cup with protests and public burning of Wasim Akram's idols. We Indians are too well bred and well educated to show such a conduct to anybody, whether Indian or not!!! A piece of advice - Think before you dish out anything as bad as that b'coz we do not hesitate to give back as good as we get. And thats a lovely ending Chhail, JAI HIND. -Saakshi.Read More

great movie and a great revu too. I agree that it is scary, as is Macbeth. But nevertheless, I loved the movie and would gladly watch it again. In my opinion, movies are not just entertainment, they act as a medium of communication too. Movies like Maqbool, Maachis and the likes have something to... say to the world and they are realistic and leave a message for the masses. I think Maqbool has been successful in this respect. Hi Rajat, Welome to MS. That was a very good revu. I enjoyed reading it very much. U r absolutely right abt the movie. It is certainly the worst movie of the year. But everyone seems to hv loved the movie. B'coz most people are either Shahrukh fans or Preity fans or Karan fans or fans of the... so-called light romantic movies. There was no chemistry among any of the actors and it was an insult to Rajesh Khannaji. Happy New Year and keep penning, Saakshi.Read More
