What a load of crap. I was trying to decide which character was more annoying than the other but I had to keep changing the winner because each kept outdoing the other.

Plot : I will not reveal the plot. However in my opinion it was extremly weak. All characters are linear with absolutely no depth. The story and situations were as far removed from reality as you can imagine.

Characters : One of the most irritating group of actors assembled. Every character (even side ones) are given only loud and stupid dialogs. Whether it is the daadi or the nymphomaniac neighbors.

Songs : One or two songs are hummable although none are worth more than a couple of weeks on the shelf. The ''baar baar haan ...'' knock-off (in the movie not on CD) from Lagaan cheapens the original.

SRK and PZ are absolutely insufferable. Re-make or Anand my foot, Rajesh Khanna is lightyears ahead of SRK. In Anand everyone prayed for RK to survive in the end, in this one I found myself praying for SRK to die (halfway through the movie) and put me out of my misery. There was absolutely no chemistry between any characters.

Only Saif Ali Khan was a bit acceptable. When a movie has to resort to 'jokes' about adultry, homosexuality and body parts (Gujrati pronouncing hall as HOLE) then you know that the director is really digging deep into an empty hole.

I realize that this is a superhit in India and abroad. So the logical conclusion is that there must at least 5 other movies with almost identical storyline in the pipeline. Its sad to see what passes for entertainment these days.

Take my advice, skip this one. A better alternative for people of San Francisco Bay Area is a group called Naatak. ( http://www.naatak.com) . I got to see one of their theater productions last month and they leave all these so called professionals way behind.
