you must've noticed i mentioned half-baked gore :). in any case, i certainly didnt go to the theatre after a hectic week to watch a guy's teeth being plucked out!

guys, there's a big difference between having a different opinion from something, and finding it useless :). a guy could simply say 'i liked the movie' and i could agree with him, but that doesnt make his review any useful, does it? the reverse holds good too. maybe mouthshut ought to add a 'i ag...ree with this' scale apart from the 'i found this useful' scale.Read More

dutt IS good, as i've already said. but i didnt find any of the other characters convincing at all. they were entirely surreal. as far as the action goes, like i said, a guy going around slashing throats and hammering skulls with little or no opposition is not MY idea of action. there's a difference... between violence and action. it COULD be seen as realism, but that would've worked if the screenplay was anywhere near realistic. as far as comparison with other movies goes, i dont know. i havent seen too many hindi movies of late. all i know is this one wasn't my money's worth.Read More

''a guy's locked up for 14 years and suddenly let free.. and has 4 days to find out why'' a description like that has gore written all over it. why would any sane guy spend time and money to go to a theatre and watch a movie like that? well, if like me you drove with your friends to the theat...Read more

but MS isnt allowing me to edit my review. Just wanted to add: If you're a graduate worried about job prospects, give a microsoft/cisco certification exam instead. No self-respecting s/w company pays any heed to your hard-earned GNIIT certificate.

My father believes in preparing for the future. And so, during the vacation of my 6th std in 1993, instead of playing 'hand cricket with a tennis ball' with friends in my apartment complex, I found myself pillion-riding on my uncle's TVS-XL, clutching a smart-looking blue folder-case with NIIT e...Read more

hi, thanks for the comment. i'm pretty finicky about my reading.. my patience hardly lasts 5 pages for a new author. MC's jurassic series had me hooked to him. you can prolly guess that i havent read too many novels. dan brown's DVC was pretty decent.. but i skipped all the bits when he wen...t gung-ho about architecture. he's done good research, but he's rather lousy when it comes to cryptography, though it seems to fascinate him. something that was confirmed when i read his digital fortress. i've read rainbow six. made good travel reading.. but not very compulsive for me. i'll keep an eye open for memoirs. thanks again. ~ramRead More

Motorola MPx200 is a thing of beauty. Blame it on my obsession for all things black, but this is one of the best looking flip models I've seen. I got it for $110 off eBay, a highly subsidized AT&T version which was locked for use with AT&T, but could be cracked by firing it with a clean version ...Read more

If you haven't read a Crichton ever, this probably isn't the right book to start. I'd rather recommend Jurassic Park to you, movie not-withstanding. Trust me, you'll never regret it. Not that State of Fear is a bad read.. far from it. But unless you've read the Jurassic Park and The Lost World a...Read more

When I lost my GSM mobile 4 months ago, I switched to RIM prepaid since it had the lowest entry costs. I was also under the impression that Reliance is offers services at rates considerably lower than those offered by GSM players. As it turned out, this was far from the truth. My starter pack...Read more
