Hi Pramod, Thanks for the comment dude. Just wanted to add my thoughts to this--just because an airline flies to all destinations in India doesnt make it 'premium national.' What matters ultimately is factors like service and the treatment meted out to passengers like us. These guys (Paramount) have... a national licence, but *choose* to fly South for perhaps reasons best known to them. So technically, they're NOT a regional airline at all. I'll agree Jet is good, (but too impersonal and robotic for my tastes) but KF is all hype man. Now that it has Air Deccan saddled onto it, it may get worse...Anyway, my choice is Paramount. I hope they can sustain this level of service when they enter other parts of India too. If they manage to do that, then we may just be witnessing a great revolution in the skies. My personal feeling only! Thanks again for your comment!Read More

Paramount has the best non-veg snacks too. Only airline I know that serves scrumptious piping hot soup! Yum yum!

I like the way you compared and contrasted all the airlines on the Southern routes. Yeah, I pretty much agree with your review there. You've made a good analysis.

Hey, nice. I didn't know they were hot shots in the South. The guy is pretty loaded but low profile or so I read. I do agree that the airline is a class apart. Amazing how much we have to choose from than say, ten years back. It was only Jet and IA then and Jet won hands down! Even today, Jet is goo...d, reliable but nothing compared to the class that Paramount has or the services and comfort it offers. Still Jet has a much much larger network and its amazing how they're able to sustain services. That's PA's biggest challenge I suppose and perhaps why they're moving slowly on the expansion route. They don't want to do another Air Deccan--expand too fast and then become a Simplifly Deccan with KF sitting on its head! lol! That said, I hope Paramount always remains an all Business class airline. One cannot travel Economy after that kind of sophistication and I don't care for Jet's Economy on their ATR's. It really sucks.Read More

Having consistently received the highest levels of service on Paramount, I think this is quite uncharitable really. They're very professional both in the air and on the ground. It never ceases to amaze me how two people's opinions can differ, but judging from all the reviews here, I'd say the major...ity would take my viewpoint. I'd recommed this airline to anyone who particularly puts comfort and elegance first. Bon Voyage!Read More

Hi! I'm not a big fan of Kingfisher at all. I'd choose Paramount any day of the week! I mean, the man behind KF has style and élan, I’ll give you that, but apart from the larger than life image of Mr Mallya(who often reminds me of a haywire movie star with his flamboyance and babe power), there ...Read more

Hey, I'm a fan of Gold Flake too! Ive been a chain smoker for fifteen years now. I've been trying to kick it but old habits die hard as they say. Still, I don't have any problems with stamina and am a regular at the gym, so what's the big deal right? enjoyed this review. Excellent language and yes, ...it gives you something to think about without being preachy. Hate it when health ministers and the like take to preaching the hell out of you to stop smoking. You'd think we lived in a democracy and not a dictatorship.Read More
