I would recommend everyone to see this movie. Only then can people understand what is truly meant by a 'pathetic' movie. STORY: I still wake up in the middle of the night trying to decipher the story - so forgive me if I can't enlighten you in that department. ACTING: The acting remi...Read more

Can anyone tell me how I could get the breakpoints and other HTML tags (like italics) to work? I put them in correctly but they do not seem to have worked... the review reads as one long paragraph which is difficult to read. Thanks, Prodi.

The fact whether a city is expensive or not is judged by something called as 'cost of living index'. As you rightly pointed out, there are more expensive or cheaper goods and services in Delhi in comparison with other cities. Thus, simply listing some products or services is an impractical and incor...rect way of gauging the 'expense of living' in a city. The 'cost of living index' for all Indian cities is periodically published by the ISI (Indian Statistical Institute). If you compare the 'cost of living index' of Delhi with cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Pune, Chennai and a host of Grade B cities (Ahmedabad, Gwalior, Patna etc...), you will see that this index value is higher for Delhi. Mumbai is the exception, that too because of accomodation cost. Your life and lifestyle may dictate your personal expense (which as I understand from your comment is quite affordable in Delhi), but if you were to lead the same life and lifestyle at any of the other cities of lower 'cost of living index', you will be able to spend lesser amount of money. I hope this answers your question(s) . Prodi. Read More

Does this refer to Coca Cola in general or Coca Cola in India? Here, in the US, the FDA has raised no flags on what Coca Cola contains. I think the review was stereotyping all coca cola factories. Prodi.

What was remarkable was the way Kubrik left the movie 'open-ended' and devoid of certainties or explanations. I do not know whether this was a deliberate ploy to direct the people towards the book to seek meaning and direction. All in all, an engrossing book and an enthralling movie. Prodi.

I understand your viewpoint, but HOW IS THE BOOK??? - is it well written? Is the language lucid and unambiguous? Is the author clear in describing his viewpoint? Is the book well planned and categorized? Is the flow of ideas seamless, or does the reader have to fill-in-the-blanks? Is the book too ex...pensive? Is it easily available? I believe a good book-review should not merely say whether the reviewer agrees with the author or not. That is for the reader to decide. The review should (in addition to discussing the authors viewpoint), dwell on at least a few aspects that I have outlined above. Let me know if you disagree. Prodi. Read More
