After the white wash of New Zealand cricket team in Super Six match against India, Indian cricket lovers enjoyed a superb joy, because in this way they white washed us. India lost their matches in the wet under prepared matches in New Zealand. And It was sufficient to break the confidence of a set team. Though Indians are thinking that we will again beat them in our home matches easily. But I think this will be not a very easy task to do. Because they played Muralitharan in the spinning tracks in Sri Lanka. New Zealand has won the “Bank Alfalah” cup in Srilanka defeating the Hosts and new young force Pakistan cricket team. So this team is in great form.
New Zealand is always a very good obstacle for the Indians. It is not a very easy task to win over them. Even the world champion Australia has to struggle to win over them.
This cricket team has perfect balance. They has super all-rounders like Chris Cairns, Chris Harris; Great batsmen like Stephen Fleming, Nathan Astle; speedstar and seemers like Shane Bond, Tuffy a very useful Wicketkeeper- Batsman like Adam Parore*(he has taken retirement). Very strong side.
Batting Side:-(4/5)
New Zealand batting side is no doubt very strong. Players like Fleming, Astle, Sinclair are the asset of any cricket team. They played a very good cricket on the cricket surfaces of Sub-Continental pitches in the past. More specifically Stephen Fleming and Astle has great experience of previous matches. And the most important thing about this team has a great hard hitter like Chris Cairns. He has won many matches for his country single handedly. Remember Nairobi Mini World Cup. He snatched the cup single handedly from the Indians. The lower order is also very strong. Even Shane Bond has the potential to save his batting line up. This is a very important point about their batting side.
Bowling Side:-(4.5/5)
New Zealand bowling side is one of the fiercest bowling side in the world. The best bowler of the side is Bond----Shane Bond. He is a total fast bowler. His line, length; ability to give Yorkers at Wright moment is perfect. His bowling action also very impressive.
The other bowlers like Tuffy, Cairns, Harris are no doubt a very good option for captain. Spinner Danniel Vettori is also improving every day and I think he will be one of the main factor in the forth coming series.
Fielding:-(5/5)
Fielding is a very important thing in the international stage. New Zealand cricket team is one of the best fielding side. They save atleast 40-50 runs in a one day match. Chris Harris is one of the best fielder in the earth. Their team fitness is also very high for perfect fielding. In this field India is far behind than this side. Once south Africa fielded very well but now the kiwis are very good in the ground. They are very impressive. The work will be not a easiest one for India.
Captaincy:-(5/5)
Stephen Fleming is one of the best captain in the world. His field setting to order of the batsmen is quite unique. It will be a tough fight for Saurav. This will be a fight of brain and efficiency.
