Obviously. Each one of us is here with our personal experiences. They might differ. Your subscription went smoothly, mine did not. The main thing is that I wanted to make others aware of the problems that might surface. Fore-warned is fore-armed.

Superb! I was thinking of disposing my zeus for a shine/Star city because of noise & pulling a pillion factor where Zeus fails. But after reading these comments I think I should stay with her and you stay where you are.

Though it may be out of place but even with 5 gears, my Zeus is helpless in 5th gear. I can allow the speed to drift to about 25 (hey not 22!) in 5th gear, and then continue upwards without problem. But I can't drive below 50 in 5th constantly because it makes considerable noise. The bike becomes bu...ttery after 55. Moreover with a pillion I find it cannot show power and even in 3rd & 4th makes noise. Maybe every bike has its nuances and we have to live with them. Good to see people sharing their true experiences.Read More

There is no mention on usage of gears in the manual, that's the grouse. If your manual has the mention, send a photocopy so that I can take up the matter with Suzuki

hi Though one can allow the speed to decrease upto 25 from which it again picks up speed, what I want to ask is whether you can run this bike between 40-50 in 5th gear without it making considerable noise? I face this difficulty, and Dilip Bam says that this bike has very low, low-end-torque and h...ence driving at this low end (40) kmph makes that noise. I was advised to drive at 4th for speeds upto 50. What is your experience? My bike is 3 months old, done 2nd service. There is a beam adjustor screw below headlight, but mind you, all plastic, so adjust with care. it has just one/two threads, enough for your adjustment. I am from Delhi, where are u from? Everyone would apreciate if you could enlarge your review as you already have her for 6 months.Read More

Actually, on MS, the topics are limited. I didn't know where to put my experiences so I put it there. What is important is to share individual experiences. Moreover let the Administrator warn me, who the hell are you? Today itself I went to the showroom and indeed the bike had some problem with the... Tappet valve which has now been rectified. Now the noise has reduced and pickup increased. Again, who the hell are you? My reference of Speed was regarding petrol with additives and not to brand name as such and if I did not experience any change in bike's running why the hell are you excited? I never wanted to claim any money from MS, just sharing my experience. When I went to the showroom, they told me that nearly half a dozen people including two police inspectors have had harrowing accidents and have changed their discs to normal brakes. I just wanted to highlight the hazard. When I call myself foolish, who the hell ....?Read More

Mr Krishnakumar, please read carefully before commenting. What was said that while riding even if you hit the speed of 15-20 the bike does not stall and you can manage. There is no need of the clutch, that's the beauty. I drive at around 40-50 and still get 65+ and around 70+ on the highway.

Check whether you have halogen bulbs, a good variety is available. Newer zeus have it. Although the headlamp is not that good compared to TVS, still okay. For fuel indicator try roadside shops as they are generally more experienced in these matters, however, do not allow them to cut your wiring as m...ost electricians depend on checking the sparks. 53-55 is what most bikes offer. Your mileage depends on whether you do the running-in properly and the speed at which you drive. Moreover, over time it keeps on dropping till it reaches a realistic level. Fill petrol at different outlets, try the company owned ones where the quantity is standard. Even 50 ml/per litre shortage can make a huge difference. Also, you get mileage only when the drive is longer. You drive 15 km that is 7-8 km one side. How many stops you have enroute is a major factor. So don't repent. My kinetic nova gives 25-30 in city and around 70 on highway, see ! that's the difference. I don't know if my Zeus would maintain the near 60 average in city conditions.Read More

Hello Sathyadeep The lock problem is solved. The dealer asked me to turn the handle fully left, push the key inside and release (like a spring), move the handle towards right a bit while turning the key. My gears are slipping sometimes, while in traffic, when clutch is depressed, the gears sometim...e change on their own, else keep making a noise of Kat, Kat, Kat ... Also it appears I am yet to stabilise on changing gears because even though the paddle is just below my shoe toe, the shoe tends to hit the left side crank case and get stuck, but otherwise gear changing happens smoothly sometimes. I don't know what is going on. Overall I got around 270 kms in Rs 200 of petrol that is around 58.69 kmpl. I think I did not dare putting this bike in traffic with reserve lurking on, I might have refuelled earlier, hence in all probability my mileage was around 60-61. How's your bike going? Almost same thoughts here too. I purchased it a week ago, done more than 500 km, on gear front I get same results. One thing I resent in these bikes (all of them) no way to adjust your headlight beam. I wonder why Suzuki is afraid of putting its specs like torque, bhp etc. either on sales pamphlet o...r instruction manual. Email sent is not replied to. It puts a bad taste in the mouth. Also, I wonder why people get amazed after choosing Zeus given that my height too is 6:3 ! Heavier bikes do not provide extra height, and I am quite comfy on my bike. I was looking for Victor Edge but thanks to TVS dealers none of them stocked it (except for one whose showroom was being renovated and had no sales staff) that I had a good look at Zeus. One thing I want to ask you all, during the running-in, how do you go about? Follow the instructions in the manual in toto or something else?Read More

Review was good, even Ipurchased a zeusthis month. I wonder why Suzuki is hiding the values on Torque, BHP & ground clearane? I emailed the comany but got no response. On the pamphlet, the dealer scribbled it by hand 10.0 Nm at 3,500 rpm, but this fact is neither given on website as well as the inst...ruction manual which contains the pages for Specifications. Readers, please confirm this before buying. Some owners in Delhi are getting around 70 kmpl, after first service while driving between 45-55. Otherwise it gives around 60, which is quite good. As far as gears are concerned, I am not sure if I am right. I rode Yezdi for 18 years before getting Zeus. I feel that if after changing a gear if you don't feel a jerk, means the shift was needed, and I found that by the time you get 20 kmp/h, it is already 3rd gear and no jerk. If you change at 35, you do get a jerk. I don't know what does the rpm indicator work for? or a Pass switch (Lights). If anyone can shed some light, I will be grateful.Read More

I believe that like in Pan Masala, opium is used to get people hooked, something similar is added to Pedigree. Instead of cribbing, why not get united and take the company to task in a consumer court? Why do you say no battery driven vehicle in its class, when Activa/Dio, pleasure exist? A few cc here or there does not make one outclassed. Here you are yourself to blame. Failed battery? Possible, not Kinetic...'s fault. Get it replaced from battery mfr. Atleast you don't need the kick every time. Scooter getting stopped on road? Appears you asked the mechanic to tune the carb for efficiency. Remember, auto-scooters can give good efficiency only on long drives, e.g. highway or uninterrupted moving, without stoppages. My 115 gives 30 in city and 60 on Ring Road in Delhi, so engine is not a problem. What else did disappoint you?Read More

Ask your friends who own Active/Dio. No bike is perfect. Try her on a highway, you will be amazed at what you see. Why did you pay when it has 2 years warranty? Moreover every bike needs adjustment after usage, normal behaviour that is. Pune has no roads to drive, a redlight every 200 meters, no bik...e would show efficiency. Parts are expensive, agreed. But then every mfr banks on them for profits.Read More
