Update: 5000 kms, post 2nd service. Today I had a pillion and got the biggest jolt, Zeus just could not pull without making huge noise. I am 92 kg, pillion 60. Though it totals 150, I wonder why my Scooty (60 cc), Nova (110cc) never ever made such a fuss which Zeus made! I felt so ashamed as everyone around was having a sharp look at Zeus. Instantly I thought about disposing her off and going for some other brand, maybe Honda Shine. So I started going thru the reviews and could you imagine what I found?

Zeus & Shine are just a small fraction apart. Zeus makes noise below 45 while Shine weeps after 45. What does it mean? Simple. Honda & Suzuki have not learnt a thing with their respective associations with Hero & TVS, whose bikes do not weep in such ranges of speed.

She is nearing her 2nd service but I somehow feel it makes noise between the speed of 40-50 kmph, as if she is not able to pull. But surprisingly after 50-60 the noise diminishes a bit. At 60 it is quite silent. Does it mean the engine is tuned for that speed?

Dreadful, but I met with an accident using the Disc brake. At around 25-30 kmph, someone suddenly stepped on the road, panicked I pulled the brake lever and the another moment I was thrown off the bike, head-down-legs-up in front of bike. Though able to walk, found my chest rib cage paining enormously the next morning. I have got a ordinary, drum brake wheel now, and the disc brake assembly & front wheel in my house. Maybe I am the only foolish one not knowing how to use the disc brake.

I tried using Speed from HP, but could not assess any change in bike noise or pickup. Has anyone used it?

For quite some time we have no new member joining, that's bad. We should have something or the other happening on MS.
