your are very right. i had a similar experience with sony 40ex520. within 18 months of use it had double images and lines. sony says panel needs replacement at cost of around 23000/-, which is 40% cost of new TV and no guarantee that is will fail again. seems manufacturing defect as many complaints ...on sony TVs can be seen on open source but the company does not care.Read More
