We bought our SONY BRAVIA LED 102Cm Klv-40Ex520 TV form CROMA Infinite Retail Ltd., a TATA Enterprise for Rs.66, 890/-on 13 Mar'2011.
We were told that the product carries a 1(One) year warranty by SONY and You may like to take an Extended Warranty;which we decided to take for 2(Two)years.
The Set was not showing pictures and only voice was heard, at times, for last few days. We thought there is a problem with'TATA Sky' and accordingly they were called and they conducted investigations for 5 days, even the TOP-UP Box was also replaced.
The problem persisted and on 10 Mar'2014 the Picture was coming intermittently, when we switched-off the TV and started chasing SONY Service Center;Who could finally come on 15 Mar'14 to tell us that the "So Called Warranty" is from CROMA and we should call them.
I immediately called CROMA Help Lline and typical reply was that you are ONE Day late in calling and "SO CALLED WARRANTY" given by CROMA, The Electronic Megastore a TATA Enterprise has since EXPIRED.So now you are on you own!
A very HAPPY STATE for TATA a Brand name for Customer Service.because Customer is always WRONG & always LATE!
Well, the damage may be only for few thousand rupee, but, I must appreciate the attitude through this mail.
Now, you better DO NOT CHEAT FUTURE CUSTOMERS and tell them to take SONY Warranty ONLY if they want a HONEST SERVICE on products bought from CROMA a TATA Enterprise.

KIND ATTN SONY We have entire range of SONY products in our house, for the last 30 years.NO REPAIRS & NO COMPLAINTS! May be now we better THINK of OTHER BRANDs & SWITCH to LG or SAMSUNG.please suggest!
