SONY has once again failed to maintain quality of its products with expensive TV units failing in less than two years and requiring exorbitant repairs. SONY has one more dissatisfied customer but I guess another addition to the long list of dissatisfied customers will make no difference to SONY. Im ...geeting a SAMSUNG TV next week. Too bad my Rs 65000/- investment into SONY’s product will be going into the dustbin. I have very good experience with SAMSUNG products and SAMSUNG customer relations. People, Pls put your hard earned money on such responsible brands rather than throwing the money to SONY. I can understand your pain of having bought a sub-standard product from a renowned manufacturer. Looks like SONY has got only the brand image left and are cashing it on that. They are eating into the brand to make money by providing low quality products. I wonder how long they will be able to do thi...s if they continue like this. I have owned around a dozen TVs in my life from various brands and NEVER did I require pay such kinds of repairs on any TV that I owned. And the first service required would be after more than 5-6 yrs of operation. But I too have the same model as yours, 1.5yrs old and face the exact same issue. SONY has managed to take their products to a stoopingly low level. I highly recommend not to trust your hard earned money with SONY anymore. Look around, there are so many good performing TVs around.
