I had a very bad experience with this TV. I purchased it in 2011 Feb, for 61000 and now with in 2 and half years, I face a screen issue, when I contacted SONY service center, they say I need pay 21000 rupees (almost 40% of the buying price) more to get new screen???
I feel SONY has lost the credibility in its products especially in India. We buy TV as a long term asset, at-least it should be fine for 5 to 10 years, after spending 60000 rupees. This is ridiculous that I need to pay more, If there is a manufacturing defect, then SONY has to take the responsibility, Why it is a burden on the consumer?
I am going to file a case in consumer court too regarding, hope the authorities or SONY will listen 100s of people's grievances with SONY LED TVs. I would never prefer to buy SONY again because I lost trust on this biggest consumer product company.
Better prefer Samsung or LG, for their life is more. SONY will go down very fast as I see so many bad reviews and complaints everywhere.
