Strange review; have an idea the problem is with user's lack of experience using tablets? Specifics: Low video resolution -- Boss, you get what you pay for! ;-) Heating & ''feel it will blast'' -- No idea what this 'feeling' is but all devices warm after charging (esp. overcharging) Battery: C...ommon issue with any brand of iOS or Android device; they *do* consume a lot of power! Still, if you unhappy, wish you all the luck with Consumer Court! (But, as your lawyer will confirm, you may need a better case than just feeling disappointed in your choice of tablet...) Cheers!Read More

@nitin: Thanks, man. I’m still quite happy with the phone; been 3 weeks now. It has acted funny a couple of times, but rebooting does the trick... hopefully, I never get to use the customer service! ;-)

I love being a minimalist; for years I carried a basic "talk & text" phone, happy with its utility. Of course, I no longer needed to wear a wristwatch. Then I got a camera phone, which took care of photography, time, and phone services. Then came the Micromax Andro A60 and I felt true power in m...Read more

Frankly, the Samsung SGH E840 would never have made it to any shortlist created by me. I have always favoured candy bar phones, especially since I usually jam my phone into jeans. A slider design? No way! Such phones were a little too glitzy for me; I liked my phones to be functional, not fashio...Read more

Nothing about the actual phone itself! An interesting anecdote, but I didn't learn anything about the mobile....

Very little about the book itself; appears to be more about the author's alleged 'personality'!

The Band of Brothers is a HBO TV mini-series that follows the battles and travails of one American unit in WWII. What made this particular series stand out in my mind was that each episode begins with interviews of the men who actually sweated, fought, bled, killed, and saw their friends killed ...Read more

The review just confused me; if this is a review about the Fly phone why is the cost of GPRS a negative for the phone? And the purchase price: is it 8K or 5890?

Very nice review; I saw the movie a month ago and left with very similar feelings... it's a subtle, powerful view of human beings torn apart by the pressures of the 50s economic boom... a lesson for us Indians? ;-)

First of all, this movie is outrageously, unabashedly all about getting laughs, with a no holds-barred approach to decency, morality, and all those finer feelings. If you are finicky about constant drug use, contrived nudity and racial stereotyping, you better save your cash and stay away. For t...Read more

I need to begin this review by talking about another book - ‘Rendezvous with Rama’, a sci-fi novel by the famous Arthur C. Clarke – that I read a couple of years ago. At the outset, I must admit that I approached the book with some hesitation; I have never really been a “hard sci-fi” fan and pre...Read more

Hey Jeffin, First, thanks for reading my stuff and leaving your feedback. Second, at no point was i comparing the Bullet and the Pulsar, so your sentiments can swell back down... its just that the Pulsar (which i still love!) has been the only bike i have owned til date. Third (and la...st), if my review did not express my awe and love for the Electra, then i guess I'm just a really bad writer! : -) Ride hard, ride safe... P.S. I hope to upgrade this review by next weekend... I think a new Royal Enfield will soon be cruising Mumbai's mean streets...! Read More

Around two years ago, I hung up my helmet and decided to sell my constant companion of 3 years, my Pulsar 150. I still thrilled at the ride, but the inevitable grime, noise and risks wore me down. And I was getting, ahem, older. Decision made, I began to think about my next ride, a car. I had...Read more

Somehow, somewhere a niggling worm of discontent burrowed its way into my comfort zone, and I was forced to deal with the question: Is THIS all that I want(ed) out of life? Great review; an interesting take on the 'reality' versus 'campy' approach to historical war movies. However, part of the problem surely lies with the source material; C. Ryan's book, while unbiased and comprehensive, does gloss over the carnage and death somewhat. When death/ sanctioned murder is m...entioned, it is either matter-of-fact or, worse, mired in 'manly' stoicism. Still, the movie is a visual delight and fairly accurate.Read More
