Nice to see at least one satisfied customer. You will understand why 100% customers hate Volkswagen service. So many people cannot be obviously wrong. Maruti is number one in customer service. It is not a fish market. They handle servicing of uncountable cars and deliver.I have been owning a polo fo...r 4.5 years. Getting it serviced is a headache. Arrogance and zero response from servicemen and company. 1st service for TDI will cost you 12000. 2nd 16000 to 20000. This cycle repeats unless you take a call of getting it serviced by different people.The price you quoted is what multibrand service centres quote. Volkswagen sucks. I enjoy the peaceful ownership of my Maruti Alto for 9 years now. While my Maruti has been enjoying the professional service at authorised dealers, my polo is at the mercy of local garages. Car with a bad bumper? No. It is not. It could be an exceptional case for you and I'm not denying it. I share my experience as an evidence of its build quality. This car is worth every penny it is priced for. I was hit by a speeding bike driven by a drunk driver on expressway in bangalore at night. ...Polo saved me. The rider, his pillion rider and the bikes were thrown off like toys in air. The impact of the collision was very very strong. Still the bumper hooked on completely and there was a minor dent on the dikki door. Given the impact of the collision, it was a worthwhile and very less damage. Prior to this, there were many incidents when I was hit by bikers at the rear end. The bumper wasn't that new at the time of accident and had surfered injuries before. VW has everything made of quality parts. It is a very safe car. There was one more incident in which XUV 500 was reversing blindly and it came and directly hit me over. There was no damage other than a rash on the bumper. The service is actually very pathetic and costly. They are good at making a huge list. For example, for regular 1st service, VW whitefield quoted approx 6000. The actual service tag was 13000 INR. They 'hide out' many things both at the time of selling and servicing the cars.Read More

Yesterday on 17.12.2014, my fridge was 9 years, 3 months, 10 days, 18 hours old. I had maintained it very nicely. No scratch, no dent, always shining with wax polish. It kept running all these years without any fuss. No experience of any service. But I had to exchange it with a big one from samsung.... I'm married now, have a kid and therefore need more space. My wife got my friend parted with me. Above all, it was an awesome, durable experience. That truck wala handled it so rudely. Feel like hitting him. Bye bye my sweet little princess.Read More

I wouldn't give you a wrong advice. I own polo diesel for more than a year now. If your heart says polo buy it. But expect a very bad service from them. All brands have one or the other issues. i20 would be nice to consider. However I'm not sure about its high speed handling. New Micra would be a go...od choice. Remember Japanese are better and down to earth people. Read More

I had contacted VW. I got an apology. I do not care to go there anymore. I'll try some other service center. My car, once my pride, has turned out to be a nightmare with its best in class handling at its worst. :-(

I need one help from you. Just play some mp3 song in the music player in ur x2-00 in full volume on the loudspeaker. on the back of your phone, two speakers will be emitting the sound (placed diagnolly to each other). Now, place your thumb on first speaker. Observe the volume of sound on the 2nd one... (lower). Next place your thumb on the lower speaker and observe the volume of sound on the first (upper).Please let me know if you are getting the same volume on both the speakers. On mine the upper speaker (next to camera lens) has volume considerably less than the lower one. I want to know if it is a malfunction in my 1 week old x2-00 mobile or this is the way it is designed. I have not got any service till date. I did not call them again. Ironically, Voltas guranteed 3 free of cost service in the first year. Today, it is 30th May 2011. But yes, I feel that cooling is quite good, better than Samsung, LG, whirlpool, for Voltas is in air-conditioning for a long time. I’ve ...a 1 BHK flat with a really big hall. My AC is installed in the hall. If I keep my bedroom’s door open, it quickly cools down my bedroom too. It is energy efficient as well. Carrier is a good option, though service is not very great; not ignoring like Voltas however. Why don’t you try windows AC from Carrier? Carrier has reduced the price too. I had gifted my parents a 1.5 ton Carrier Windows AC more than 2 years back. We’ve 5 Windows AC from Carrier in my native. One of them being into its 17th year and still running without any problems! If you are looking for very good service but not very long-lasting AC, you can go for any Korean brands like Samsung and LG. Japan's Panasonic has launched Cube ACs starting from 14k to 19k. Panasonic would be an excellent option; though I do not know about their service.Read More

People are complaining of poor brakes in K10. My alto Lx is more than 3.5 years old and has done 50000 kms. In the old alto, mileage, brakes and AC are really good. The brakes are very effective even at high speeds. Quite good number of times I had to apply brakes all of a sudden and it never failed.... In fact, the brakes are better than even i10. AC is better than any other car - spark, i10, swift, Logan, but eats up the pick-up at low speeds. I want to change to new alto because of power steering, power windows, and K series engine and more BHP.Read More
