Looks great but lacks in performance . Review on Nissan Micra

Updated after test drive...

I was quit expecting a lot from NISSAN micra and finally get a chance to drive ..

My Opinions..

1. When I start the car , the car is absolutely silent. And its power steering is good. I am able to turn quickly without taking the long curve as they are advertising small radius turn.

2.As per driving experience its quit normal in terms of performance.It lacks in power comparing with FIGO, chervolet beat. But driving is smooth and easy driving.

1. AC is pretty good and powerful.

4.NISSAN MICRA need to improve a lot in suspension. Of course suspension is little bad. When the car is going in the jurky roads car is fully shaky. Even on the speed breaker car jumps and settle down.

5.The basic model rear seats doesnt have head rest and the seat is very thin..(i think its a cost cutting)

6.Look wise car looks amazing in red , orange and blade silver colour. It has quality ineriors as well.

1. The front dash board looks good only with in built music system. Without that dash board it looks very simple.

8.The cost is liitle expensive even though it has driver seat air bag.

My conclusion , NISSAN micra is compettive to hyundei i10 , maruti zen estilo., it stands a way long from SWIFT.

FORD FIGO, CHERVOLET BEATS easily beats this car in terms of power and suspension.

Finally if you need fancy looks and more features and look for better car than i10 then you may consider this.

(For me its disappointment , was expecting this car would be like SWIFT)

I have recently visited NISSAN showrom to see the new micra model car. Its open for booking now, but not yet car is available for test drive. You can just have a look at this car for now. The sales person said car will be available for test drive within june end...

Price seems to be starting from 4.8 lakhs.

NISSAN micra is manufatured in the new car plant in chennai told be sales person. So expect the spare parts should be cost effective.

These are the things I observed..

1.Car Looks great. From the front and the back side.

2.Front Interiors is good..its stands uniquecomparing from other cars and looks good. Very compact design...

3.The driver seat is comfortable.

4.The door handles and door interiors looks stylish looking from inside.

5.From the back side it looks similar to the A*, but looks more stylish.

6.All model has driver seat air bag, very good option.

7.AC seems to be good with automatic climate cotrol..etc. Not experienced yet. It has a temperture display..

8.Mileage 18 KM/L promised.

I am waiting for the car to be available for test drive. Hope the driving experience would be great as NISSAN being a japan company.

Will come back with more points once test driven the car.
