I upgraded from an maruti 800 to Alto K10 VXI 10 days back.
Here are my observations of K10 after driving it for 300 km.
+
Powerful Engine. You can feel it the moment you start the engine. I was able to push the car to 140 kmph and still no jerkines. K10 handled it with ease.
No dip in speed when A/C is on. Powerful engine handles it well.
Looks of instrumentation in amber light is very cool with tachometer.
Digital fuel meter is very good.
Power Steering is very helpful in city driving.
Very fuel efficient(I got approx 15.5kmpl with 50% A/C for the first 200 km which is very good and it will improve after 5000km)
Front seat leg room is good.
Decent boot space
Looks have changed and it is very muscular now.
Power windows.

Driver seat is little cramped.A 5.5 tall person cannot go inside and come out without brushing the steering wheel. But once inside, the position is comfortable(Driver seat position was better in maruti 800.Note: I meant only the driver position, not the handling. K10 scores well in handling)
I felt the engine noise is slightly more for a petrol car
Rear leg room is decent.
Overall for a price tag of 3.67 L on road, this car is definitely worth a buy.
It is very similar to old zen and I saw number of K10 in my city which tells the movement is very good.
Verdict: Go for it.
