15)Paayalia(Shruti Phatak):
Good song,nicely sung, but my fav part would be the 'by god' touch added to this song.Classic
16)Ranjhana(Shilpa Rao):
Another one of the smaller length songs in the album.nice rendition by Shilpa Rao.Rajhasthani touch to it
17)Saali Khushi(AT):
Keeping up with t...he Melancholic tone of the album here's another track with sad,depressing,beautiful lyrics...
saanp jaise kaali raat hain,
hai zeher si yeh zindagi
kahan chali gayi hai saali khushi.
Amit Trivedi has something in the way he sings each song in this ost.It makes you ponder over the lyrics.
18)Yahi hai meri zindagi(Aditi Singh Sharma):
Phew! The last song for the album.(not that we'r complaining,just that i am tired of typing by now :D)
Aditi has such innocence to her voice,she sings this songs beautifully.One of those feel good songs,which you would want to hear early in the morning,atleast the setting of the songs makes you feel so.
And with that album comes a full circle.WOW ,what an amzaing album.I think major credit of the album should go to Amitabh ,who is the lyricist.The way he has used shudh hindi,along with english lyrics is commendable.(Plus, the sweet dosage of abuses sprinkled in between).And of course Amit Trivedi has arrived in bollywood with this monster of an album.Exciting times lie ahead for bollywood,ARR is in his prime,Vishal Shekhar are also doing some good work and now AT has joined in the party.I definitely think this would end up amongs the Top 5 of '09 and i daresay if the Product rating for this album goes below 4 starts,if not 5.

EA(both versions),Duniya,Pardesi,Aaank Micholi,Nayan Terse,Dhol yaara dhol,Saali Khushi
PS:Anurag,I certainly hope that you'd do justice Amit Trivedi's song in Dev.D.Looking forward eagerly to the realease of this film.

Thanks for such a great comment,feels good to be appreciated and as far as movie goes , i also loved those things The way he has showcased day-to-day activities and the bond between bros.
And also for once there was no unnecessary evil lying... around, i mean usually we see the taunting mom or lying bro who say over the top dialogs but here it was all like as it happens in any middle class family. Absolute genius.

You quite right about Abhay, he is turning out to be a better actor with each of his releases.
I think the reason i loved manorama was that i feel nothing of this kind has been seen in Hindi Cinema as such , the movie certainly has some of it flaws but i'll happily overlook or consider it ...CL(Cinematic Liberties) if Navdeep gives us a even better deal with his next.Read More
